It completely froze on him and became completely unresponsive. There's a lot of things this guy did during his stream that you can raise your eyebrow over, but doing a hard reset isn't one of them.

If you read back near the beginning of the thread, people here were telling the OP to unplug it for 5 seconds to see if that helped after it became unresponsive. Hell, after 30 minutes of it doing nothing I would have tried that.
