Look. This is a comedy of errors. People are thinking that two beeps is the key. It's NOT!

There's instructions there on how to get into safe mode.

Note that it says the two beep thing is ONLY for IF the light is ORANGE.

So what he needs to do is this:

1) STOP FUCKING SWITCHING INPUTS

2) Plug the PS4's HDMI into HDMI Input 2

3) Set the TV to HDMI2

4) Make sure the PS4 does NOT have the hard drive plugged in and that the PS4 is completely turned off.

5) Now, Touch the power button the PS4 and hold it in for 7 seconds. Hopefully this will put it into safe mode. DO NOT SWITCH INPUTS WHILE IT'S DOING THIS. The system has to do handshaking with the TV.

So much fucking this.

Well this thread and what I have watched of the stream has given me some laughs. I would keep watching, but I am getting terrible flashbacks of when I used to do PC tech support.

Me too. I've gone into his stream 3-4 times, but can only handle a minute or so before my 'dealing with idiots' PTSD kicks in.

Some people are stupid at the best of times. Add technology to the mix, and their stupidity sinks to new depths.
