Limited Run Games - Putting digital games into your hands

Not sure if anyone cares, but it seems these games have only been released physically in EU (so far?) and could be interesting for collectors around the world

Toki Tori 2+ PS4

Ziggurat PS4

Both are pretty decent games as well. The site I linked should be the cheapest for intl delivery.

I have them indeed in my house. I always try to support this kind of companies that bring physical games that big companies don't care. A shame that I wasn't able to buy breach and clear since I didn't even know limited run games existed and won't pay ebay prices.

LRG pressing all the right notes. Hope that this come true because Arland Trilogy is THE physical holy grail for vita. Too bad I breaked and bought Totori and Meruru digital. I can and will double dip for Totori.

I'd say Ayesha Plus is more important given that E&L Plus is physical.

Totori Plus have a special symbolism engraved to it because it was the first major physical turned digital in the west, and the one who started all that begging for physical editions, asian english versions, etc.

LRG fixing this injustice would be huge for the vita community.

That Futuridium image is beautiful ;-;

So cool to see reality coming together.

Also, being able to score that Atelier trilogy in one go would be bonkers.

Any idea of when it's going to release? Oddworld and CSH are the next 2 releases still right?

Maybe I missed something from Zeboyd, but we still don't know when Cosmic Star Heroin's own release date is. If there's months to kill I'm sure they'll fill it with anything viable, and Futuridium is an already released game with the LRG box art being promo'd, so I assume it's basically ready to go after Oddworld. Just speculation though.

Thanks so much! We're really happy that a lot of people are liking the covers! We were very nervous about them and spent a lot of time tweaking the design! :)

We'll have a release date soon, Vita version passed Sony QA and the PS4 one should pass it to. We have an estimate right now, once it's nailed down Limited Run'll share the final release date!

Awesome!!! I can not wait for this. Here is to hoping I can get one of each.

They should get in touch for KT America for US versions of the games also.
Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate and Samurai Warriors 4 Empires also would be welcome.

Ehh it's not like there's any real difference between the 2 versions. They both use the same translations and voice work, the only difference is the ratings on the cover. Vita is region free and there's no meaningful dlc for any of them except costumes, which I'd question how that would be a huge dealbreaker for anyone if these were the only physical print of the games that we get (if we get any of them).

Was never interested until this Atelier talk. You now have my attention.

Though with my luck it'll be a time I'm broke, or I won't be around in time. lol

Will definitely pick up any previously digital-only Atelier games. Maybe bug them about Ciel no Surge Offline while you're at it. :)

So many people on twitter that keep asking for releases that already have a physical print and are still being made. SAO/Oreshika/Soul Sacrifice Delta (and a dozen others) can still be found through importing lol, hell SAO is a joke to find compared to the others. Would rather they work on new releases that never saw an English print, not ones that still have a print going.

Would love the Atelier games on Vita. I would be ok if they took the Zenonia games and put them out as a Vita/PS4 collection as well but I may be alone in that one.

These people seem to be missing the point of LRG. At least as far as I'm concerned.

LRG should be for games that would never have a physical edition without it. It should be catered towards small studios who could never do it on their own.

Not for games that already exist, but hard to find.

I want to believe these people are uninformed, rather than entitled or ignorant.

Looks like Futuridium is going to be limited to 4,000 copies (2k on each platform), its also going to be a fully patched version on disc (patch releasing digitally soon) so hopefully fixing those trophy issues. No idea of the Limited Run physical release date though, predicting next few months at latest if I had to bet.

info from http://crashlanded.co.uk/limited-run-games-futuridium-ep-deluxe.php

That's a good number, although not an improvement from how much SMRPG sold.

OMG you've made my day, didn't know cosmic star heroin was coming too, and that game looks awesome.
I may buy both versions since that game is looking very special.
Limited run games will you allow one person to buy both versions and be sent on the same package as the same price or not?

EDIT: Zeboy planning to include a manual to CSH limited run games has told me, they also plan to have signed 5 or 6 more games this month!.
I believe that we're going to get salt and sanctuary and velocity 2x since they're following them on twitter and also think we'll eventually get axiom verge and nuclear throne since they are very demanded.#buythemall
This one seems to be coming too: https://twitter.com/KitfoxGames/status/706505242477785088

LRG has 13 signed Vita titles and should sign another 5 or 6 by the end of the month. I guess production should get faster since one per month won't be fast enough by the speed of the contracts getting signed.

I had only heard of these guys in passing, and subscribed to their Twitter at some point. I ended up winning one of their twitter follower giveaways for Saturday Morning RPG and received it in the mail a little bit ago. So they're my favorite people around right now.

Excited for Cosmic Star Heroine, but I'm not sure if I'll bite since I'm already in for the kickstarter.
