Got 'em. Was worried my meeting would interfere. Luckily coworkers were a few minutes late.
Soldner sounds pretty exciting, from some impressions in this thread. I was hyped for Xeodrifer and Octodad, but maybe this one most of all?
Was also worried because this is the first time I've tried to buy 2 games in 1 go. Thought one or the other might give an error or something and delay me into missing both. Instead it was a shockingly smooth experience as always. n_n

Grabbed vanilla copies of "Soldner X-2" and "Breach & Clear: Deadline" for this round. I really, really wanted the original game on Vita, but I had a difficult time justifying the asking price when other life necessities are calling right now. Congrats to everyone that successfully nabbed the franchise bundle and the last of the first limited run.

But it was close, because something strange happened, when i tried to checkout with paypal.
It said "Payment has not been authorized by the user." on the limited run games checkout page, after logging into paypal.
I had enough money on my paypal account.
It worked after trying again a few times and closing the paypal page, which i opened in another tab, where i was logged in before the games went live.

I had the same problem last time I ordered on Play-Asia. That's veeeery cringeworthy !

First post about missing Soldner-X2 was at 10:12AM EST but I think the first batch sold out a bit before that so it probably lasted around 10 minutes.
Pretty sure it told me it was sold out even before 10mn :O
I think that must've been a bug. I got that error message just a few mins past.

Soldner has gone very quickly too, B&C PS4 seems still in stock.
Ok. I looked over at the B & C franchise bundle after I had checked out as I was just curious, and it showed a smidgen of red left on the bar.
But as you said, must have been because the site was glitching.
And I second what another person said, good for LRG in coming down on those cheaters. Stupid fucks, like they are more special than anyone else.

No surprise that Soldner sold out so fast. It's a physical Vita shmup with an exclusive platinum trophy. Other than getting B&C Vita, it's the LRG release I've been most hyped for up until now.
Thankful that I got my copies ordered this morning. Always like to hang out and read reactions...man, seriously curious how you guys handle or personally deal with all the complaining and negativity? Social media brings out the worst in people, myself included at times.
There were 30 copies available, yet people act like they expected it to be available a while or to be any more than a lottery. Your chances to get the franchise bundle were non-existent before it went up for sale.
Also seeing some people demanding reprints, kind of misses one of the primary motives that the company is based on....
Anyway, congrats on another successful effort. Happy to have you guys around.

Plus it's a very good game. Some LRG releases are so-so but this one was clearly standing out.

Agreed. Out of all the games released so far this is the best one (in my opinion), Oddoworld is good, but Soldner is better.
I'm happy I was able to get the soundtrack bundle for it. Not only looking forward to the game, but looking forward to listening to the CD, Rafael Dyll is a great composer.

Though their upcoming slate is awesome. Want nearly every game they've announced so far apart from Dragon Fantasy.
edit: Also, Breach & Clear PS4 is still available, not fantastic for a first batch (even though it'll sell out soon I'm sure).

I almost went with the soundtrack bundle, but felt the main game was enough for what I needed (though I do love the soundtrack in this game).

Yeah, Soldner was definitely my most anticipated LRG release. Really wish there was a PS4 or Vita version of the first game though; would have loved to have a physical copy of that one.
In any case I'm looking forward to attempting the platinum for Soldner X-2. Going to be super cool if I can be one of the few that earns it!

Good luck on the plat. Having played the digital version, I'm already aware of how hard some of the challenges are (that are required to clear for the plat). I'm just happy to have the game and DLC on one cart.

I had never heard of that game before but I'm seing a lot of love for Rainbow Moon on this topic. Maybe I should check it out ^^
Rainbow Moon is a SRPG and definitely geared towards the more ‘old-school’ crowd. There is more grind associated with it (especially if you play hard) and the story is non-existant.
But I knew going in there was no story, and when I needed to, I enjoyed the grind. The graphics are colorful and I found it very addicting. And it has a really strong soundtrack. What I also love about the game is even though it’s a SRPG, it has great exploration. There is actually a world to explore, unlike most SRPGs where there are just points on a map.
There is also a sequel announced called Rainbow Skies. Right now the estimated release is end of this year or early next year.

Kind of worried about this since you are the second person I have seen complain about this now. At least if you means Canadian dollar (CAD). Is it delivered by Canada Post or a courier? Couriers always charge local taxes plus fees while Canada Post seem to let them slip through, or at least have until now.

There is still the chance that in black friday there is one unit or two maybe I don't know.

No, I asked on Twitter and B&C Vita is officially done. Scalpers hold the power now.
I actually want to play the cartridge too. It was patched while the PSN version has bugs.

Congrats! That's pretty cool that you were able to get one. It's a fun game to just pick up and play to kill some time with.

Thanks to Douglas (and I see someone also posted it to their twitter), anyone looking for the first Breach & Clear soundtrack can pick it up from Amazon. I didn't realize it was widely available...feel free to shame me for my lack of google skills, I'm just happy that I am able to get it to go with the other soundtracks.
