Live countdown to major Persona team announcement from Atlus [Summary in OP]

Go listen to your Persona jpop or something >:(

Not sure you can beat Battle for Everyone's Souls. Was a great musical song, THEN the Velvet Theme kicks in. Bonus points for imagining the Arcana quotes over the song. :p

I am SO hyped for the announcement that I'm going to be WORKING THROUGH. It just had to be Sunday morning, huh? :(

Both have good melodies but The Almighty has dat soft guitar. I like the Velvet Room theme but it's not good enough to put Everyone's Souls over The Almighty IMO. The cool-looking battlefield in the P4 fight helped with the atmosphere which made that fight more memorable for me than P3's last fight.

Battle for Everyone's souls has dat piano tho.

The battle theme for Kusumi No Okami was better than Almighty. Dat remix.

Don't forget about Fog and The Genesis, which are awesome in their own right. Especially that awesome guitar part on Fog and The Genesis using Reach Out To the Truth in that awesome buildup throughout the song.

More jazz influences in the Persona soundtrack, please - Meguro does pieces with bits intermixed so well, but having a more overtly jazz-influenced soundtrack would tickle me to a T
eddie
.

The only thing that can get me excited is Persona 5 PS3.
PS4 would be even better, but you know, it's atlus.
It has been 5 years now since I finished P4 lol.

Ack, shouldn't have closed the stream 'cause now it's constantly prompting me for a Premium Membership. Didn't think viewership would be so high when it was off-the-air.

I feel ashamed to ask but I created an account to NicoNico and when I try to click the link to the stream it just asks me to buy their premium membership. What did I do wrong?

EDIT: Okay it's overloaded. Got it.

Would anybody like to post the best tracks of Persona 1 & 2? Sadly I am not that familiar with these games (only watched a playthrough of both P2s). :(

You know I played both but I can't remember any of the music in them for the life of me. I remember Persona 1 OST being obnoxious, to me anyway. I don't remember being as erked by P2's though

I still maintain that The Genesis is the only song i feel that could have been done better.

What i feel they should have done is when
Izanami
only has a quarter of health left is transition the song from the despair filled part to the remix of Reach out for the truth and keep playing that on repeat .

Basically the game way of saying : you are winning. KICK HER ASS !

YES, I got in. I am never leaving again!

First off, PSP remakes > original music, to me. P2 had the most memorable OST, for me. Some that come to mind right now:

- Maya's theme
- Knights of the Holy Lance
- Ginko's theme
- Aoba Park
- Yukino's theme (couldn't find PSP version)
- End theme

Dammit, I can't find one of the best dungeon themes in the entire series that is Kasugayam High (Innocent Sin - PSP). I can only find the original version that really isn't as good. Guess that Youtube Persona purge was particularly felt for P1 and P2 OST.

I like how P2 had different songs playing in the velvet room. As much as I like Poem of Everyone's Soul it gets old listening to it over and over.

I specially like Erik Satie's Gymnopedie #1.
