Live/Interactive Novels would be based on Role Playing. Instead of A book with a fixed narrative. AI would play all the other characters in the book and react differently to events. There would be a setting and a backstory and fictional value system that the AI would play out. Every time you, the protagonist "read" the book it could playout differently.
Technically it's just a P&P game. But it can be done alone and anytime using any theme. This would make it attractive to the mainstream.
