Ok, go here

Right-click the picture of Bush and his wife. Scroll down to "Properties" and view the entire address (url).

Here's the link by itself: http://cdn-channels.netscape.com/cppops/features/n/ne_election5/i/asshole.jpg

I captured it incase it ever disappears:

What the hell? in BOTH of the threads, you posted that the thread "had already been posted." They can't both have come after the other!

I say we e-mail it into the site's 'problem' department. What could be funnier than a crappily paid web admin getting fired for a moment of weakness?

On a similar subject. 1up's latest e-mail as way too much Bush bashing to be tasteful. I am not a republican or conservative but when the editors of a videogame publication make such one sided political bashing, it makes all liberals seem like uncivilized, unrespectful, flaming morons. I want to read information and oppinions on games not some alarmist editor crying about people voting 'for war'. For this I am unsubscribing to their email.

I'm so tired I just absentmindedly clicked the "cancel" button on that image like 5 times before realizing what I was doing.
I was feverishly trying to change the music from Eminem with no success.

Netscape News != CNN.... not sure how you'd even equate the two.

Probably because just above the picture it says Election 2004 with CNN.....

Looks like the culprit was probably somebody at Netscape though, not CNN.

Well allow me to educate the folks here:

CNN's content is only on CNN's site. CNN has partner arrangements with other content partners within Time Warner such as AOL and Netscape whereby the CNN brand is the dominant brand (because it is worth more). Images, ads, and the like on those sites are created maintained and owned by those sites unless they are supplied by CNN (in which case they would begin with http://i.cnn.net). Since this one begins with a netscape URL, this is withing the Netscape content tree.... though I'm sure PR and HR are already moving to identify the person responsible for the 'issue'.
