IGN had like 25 new videos up and now they are gone :lol Seems like capcom didn't like all the spoilers provided.

In what appears to be an embarassing climbdown for practically everyone involved, ALL the new movies on every single gaming site have been pulled. In fact, the only new movie still available is Gamespot's feature length video preview, and even that's only still up because they haven't gotten round to changing the banner on their news page; you can't access it in their RE4 section.

I did consider it odd that Capcom was telling us everything, in detail, regarding the first half of the game, minus some small cutscenes that involved Ingrid and Luis. Speculation would suggest a miscommunication about what spoilers sites could and couldn't reveal, or sites could have accidentally released the videos too early and Capcom had wanted to release a new trailer beforehand.

Either way, this would appear to be a case of "locking the stable door after the horse has bolted", if you catch my drift.

Great, Capcom always does this crap where they reveal every monster etc before the game comes out. They did it with RE and RE0. and they were doing that with this.

The whole Ada thing really pissed me off. I mean what the fuck. I didnt want to know that before playing the game.

haha, and people flamed me when i was saying the glut of media was going to hurt the game.

seems capcom agrees. eat it deadlifter :p

You heard it here first, people like to watch snippets of gameplay rather then buying the game itself!

sippets capcom doesn't want you to see unless you bought the game and are experiencing it yourself. I completely agree

Thanks you jerk. It certainly doesn't help on your part to repeat the spoilers without spoiler tags.

I want blood....

IGN had a freaking NEWS article right on the front page that had it in the TITLE. I wouldn't qualify that as much of a spoiler anymore, dude.

To be fair, some people don't read IGN everyday.

Thanks for the spoiler, jerk.

Seriously, you guys just go nuts with the spoilers sometimes. Try to look out for your fellow gamer, especially if you're bloody complaining about a spoiler and letting everyone else know what it was. How ridiculous...

I don't think spoilers was the issue, you can still read the article detailing the boss fight at IGN, with pics and everything. The article with the
Ada Wong
spoiler is still there as well. Maybe they didn't want them to show movies from this build? Looked good to me, but what do I know.

I thought Gamespot's video preview was the perfect length to give us a taste of what the game has to offer.

IGN turning the demo into a week-long feature(while typical of them) was extreme.

Can't really blame Capcom for asking them to chill.

Wow, another brilliant move on behalf of the media. And to think, people actually pay IGN for their crap.
?

I've downloaded most of the new movies at 640*480. Couldn't do that if I didn't pay. If someone screwed up it wasn't IGN since other sites apparently had to remove their videos as well.

The videos rock btw. Thanks IGN!

Dude, they're small snippets that are readily available (yet slightly smaller) for free all over the internet (and on IGN no less) for a game you plan to buy anyways. But it's your money so enjoy :-\

Well, I think it makes a big difference whether the movie is 320x240 or 640x480. There's a lot of detail lost in the small videos.

Gamespot charges for downloads as well so why single out IGN?

> for a game you plan to buy anyways.

I'm not sure that I will get it just yet and I didn't subscribe just for RE4 media anyway.

Thanks. I think $25 isn't so bad considered how much I download from their site every year.
