Can anyone recommend a good HDMI cable not made by Monster? I don't feel like paying $120 for a freaking digital cable, but I'm also not interested in a piece of junk that's going to result in sparkles. It doesn't need to be very long--1 or 2 meters will suffice.

Help me, GAF-wan Kenobi! You're my only hope!

I've seen them for like 20 bucks at Fry's. It's carrying a digital signal anyways, so you're likely not going to need the usual Monster Cable overkill business.

I got mine FREE from my cable company (Time Warner).

Check ebay. That's where I get all of my cables from.

My (official) Sony PS2 component video cable actually went bad. So I got a replacement on eBay for like $2.00 plus $3.00 shipping. You honestly can't beat that.

Yeah, cable and satellite installers are usually good at giving away very nice high-guage cables. Hell, just ask and they'll usually hook you up since they get reimbursed for the equipment anyways. I've gotten a ton of very nice S-video cables this way and didn't have to have man-sex with them ONCE!
