I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good space faring/trading/combat game. I am looking for something that has persistence and a concentration on ships rather than their occupants... isometric would be awesome. I am looking for a game that will NOT consume my life as I want to continue playing other games as well... I'm looking at you Eve Online.
Some options I have looked into include.
Sins of a Solar Empire: Awesome, but no persistence.
Eve Online: Also awesome but requires a larger time commitment then I'm interested in investing right now.
Armada Online: Good game, not a huge fan of the metagame and player progression. Lacking in the exploration department.
Space Pirates and Zombies: Was looking forward to this but there is no multiplayer component.
Starfleet Command (Facebook): Great game but it's all stats based with no graphics.
This is extremely urgent, I needs my fix!!!
