Thought I'd pick up some more wavebirds and play some games with my 6 year-old twin nephews this weekend. The Cube was chosen because of portability, durability, and the wavebirds themselves.
We gotta play all at once, and the game has to be dead simple. If there was some 4 player drive-a-car-into-buildings game I'd pick that up in a heartbeat, because that's about where these two are. Also, it should go without saying that the game content cannot be at all mature.
The Mario Party series sprung to mind. But if I have to unlock minigames for us to play by playing the normal mode myself, then forget it. In any of the three Cube Parties, is there a way to just unlock all or a portion of the minigames right off the bat?
I already have SSBM, and I suppose we could play that for a while. That game would teach them the controller too. If they get the controller down, then we could move on to more complex stuff, but I'd probably want to turn off items just to keep it simple.
Well, that's about all I've thought it through so far. If anybody has helpful suggestions I would appreciate the input.
