My friend accidentally deleted a folder containing a bunch of his pictures, and he's looking to see if he can get them back. I've had him leave his PC alone since he did it, so he shouldn't have overwritten the files by now.

I'm looking for free software to recover it if possible. I did a search, and all I found was a thread where BuddyC offered a solution that you had to pay for.

If you guys can help, he'd really appreciate it. He lost a lot of valuable pictures.

A genius is him i say.

Anyway i believe there is way to get the shit back but isnt that a feature incorporated into Norton?
