Those seem all artworks and not game screens.
I'm interested in actual footage, which I hope will be shown at the Tokyo Game Show.

Nope.. these are the first official screens...... right?
No, they are from the months old CG trailer. I had an interview with Sakaguchi (personally) and he mentioned it's pre-rendered, but they used some in-game assets, not specifying which. But I assume the model of the lady for example and some of the enviroments in the trailer they fly-by, non of those in these shots.

But these are clearly CG and the lady is a, like BlimBlim said, render-target most likely.

I am glad to see more developers (especially JP) use middleware.
Killer7 used Renderware!

The scenes are from the trailer, but the trailer was never officially released. These screenshots also appeared in Famitsu, but it is the first time they were released on the web officially.

This is the first UE3 game that doesn't look like a UE3 game.

Endless Saga MMO for PS3,PC also diverges from the "UE3 look"...but yeah Huxley, GoW and U07 all have a bit too much of the same DNA. At least we're starting to see different genres freed of it.

Frame City doesn't have the UE3 look - it just looks like shit :lol

Frame City Killer doesn't looke like typical UE3, graphically or artistically

I don't think it is confirmed that this game will use UE3 though

Not nearly as much as the others, but the look of the normal mapping (albiet of poorer quality) and some of the lighting seems to give it a hint of UE3. Even the color palette is oddly familiar.

Their website lists the shots as screenshots. It should be illegal to do so if they really are render targets.

Not until the product goes on the market. At that point it IS illegal for them to do so.

The screns are from the movie but they are new as you coudn't see this much detail in the old ones. Now that I see how crisp this game looks, it's even more impressive. Looking forward to this one as well. Anyone know a release date?
