I finished the first "tape" today and yeah this is the weakest dontnod game imho. Just fuck all happens for 90% of the run time and the four chicks are not likeable enough to be really engaging. Not to mention the lameass modern woke bullshit where the older versions of the characters are like "remember how we used to slut shame? how horrible of us!" or referring to homeless bums as "unhoused people", jesus wept. French canadians should be forbidden from writing videogames.

Also the game is more demanding than TLOU2 while looking generation weaker.

I do intend to see it through but I honestly hope tape 2 is much shorter.

According to HLTB it's 11 hours for the story and I doubt I'm even an hour into the game. I just entered the garage where they make music. In present time they keep mentioning something important, a promise and they make it sound all very bad and mysterious.

That gets me wondering wtf they are talking about, but all this teenage stuff in between and how slow it all is.....I feel I should just drop this. Time is just too precious.

Currently playing through this crap, because I was naive and thought maybe it's a good game. After all, it's from Dontnod. So i got a trophy and because I'm such an obnoxious trophy hunting lowlife, I gotta drag myself through the entire game.

Last game I platinumed was FF8, which is definitely the worst FF I've ever played, but compared to this crap it was a decent game.

Played it recently on Game Pass, and thought it was fairly entertaining. Shame the main character is such a tank - she gets attractive later, but you only see her in her final form right at the end. Staring at her giant square arse and cankles for the rest of the game is not so nice.

The lack of a period soundtrack is a big miss. I mean, it's about some 90s girls wanting to form a band, but none of the bands they namecheck are ever played. Their own song is shit when they first play it, but sort of okay when it's done acoustically by one of the characters near the end. Weak modern lyrics though.

The online stuff never worked for me, so I didn't get to see how my choices compared. I made sure to side with the zit-face character all of the time, as I thought it was the best chance of seeing them properly lez up at some point, but it meant the other one walked out before opening the box.

I finished it a while ago and I still don't really know what I played exactly
