Lost Records: Bloom & Rage – Tape 2 | PS5

Between dense woodlands and serene lakes, it's a place where beauty meets the bizarre. The first episode, titled Bloom, was included in the Game Catalog in February. This new episode, titled Rage, continues and concludes the sisterhood's adventure. As the story unfolds, the bonds forged through their growing friendship, their punk band, and the unexplained event that forever changed their lives are put to the ultimate test. Navigate between dual timelines – 1995 and 2022 – to uncover the life-changing secrets they discovered back then and understand why they're reuniting now, after all these years. Together, they must confront the fateful memories that have eluded them for the past 27 years.

Alone in the Dark 2 | PS4, PS5

The sequel to the critically acclaimed Alone in the Dark has Edward Carnby dive into another mystery. This classic survival horror-game, initially released in 1993 on the original PlayStation, is playable on PS5 for the first time.

War of the Monsters | PS4, PS5

Giant monsters have stormed the planet, and they're fighting each other for supremacy. In War of the Monsters, choose your own mutant brute (or armored robot, or giant lava beast) then battle it out across 13 destructible battlegrounds. This PlayStation 2 classic from 2003 looks stunning in HD and features full trophy support – including an all-important platinum.

Because this title does not support PlayStation 2 peripherals, there may be times where the game plays differently to the original, or where some features may not be available.

*PlayStation Plus Game Catalog and PlayStation Plus Premium/Deluxe lineups may differ by region. Please check PlayStation Store on release day.

Great month for me. Topher Topher yer a Wizard is a game I've wanted to play, but would probably never buy and the trial was way too brief to get a feeling for it. Looking forward to Blue Prince and War of the Monsters too.

Hogwarts Legacy! Never thought that that ever be on PS+. It's still selling like crazy near full price. Was waiting for it to hit 30$

Wow crazy, I was super planning to buy Blue Prince (still making the purchase on Steam) but glad that people got it day one for the subscription, great step up!

War of the Monsters was a lot of fun back in the day, will revisit that one. Hopefully its had some improvements over the previous PS4 release.

This would have been a great month for me if i was still subscribed for the Extra tier. Will have to keep waiting for a big promo on Hogwarts to eventually play it.

I'm surprised WB accepted to put the game there considering how well it is still selling
PS probably did a broader deal with them for Suicide Squad marketing, Hogwarts PS+, and maybe even exclusivity on the new Batman. Clearly they are looking for a major bailout after their whole gaming division has nearly collapsed.

Blue Prince is this years Balatro. Nice that PSplus is getting it day 1. It should make a nice data point to correlate day 1 PSplus with Steam CCU.

Good month with Hogwarts Legacy, but I already played and finished back when it launched.

Anyway, I'm going to give Blue Prince a shot and also jump into episode 2 of Lost Records.

Tell me about your next purchases
lmao! Good question. My backlog is hug right now. I'm trying to not buy anything until MGS Delta so...no luck there.
Try to get a refund from Sony. I heard that its very possible if you bought it this close to the addition.
You would think that...but i share my account with someone and he has already downloaded it and is playing it.
We thank you for your sacrifice. 🙏
This is how little faith i have on PS Plus. Never in a million years did i expect such a game to show up there after only a year and 2 months, specially because it's still selling so well.

I mean I bought the game in October or November, sometimes you buy years in advance, sometimes, months, sometimes weeks, and sometimes days.

Lesson should be to only buy the games you really want to play right away and not others and if it ends up on a subscription service, you still got what you wanted which was to play it right away.

Also for those saying that it is still selling really well, REALLY need to learn how charting works and understand the number of people on PS+ Essential/Premium.

Hogwarts is excellent for those who haven't played. Blue Prince high big on metacritic. Zero fucks given about lost records bloom and doom, but the other 2 are legit.

Dang that's a great month. Idc for Harry Potter but that's a massive get on a game a little over a year old. Blue Prince is right up my ally. The game seems like it was made for me, so day 0 there.

Alone in the Dark 2 is very tempting (to buy separately). It's a shame that the first game never released on PS, it would be nice to experience the og trilogy.

Playing Hogwarts now for a few hours (on PS4 .. playable, but sometimes it looks horrendous) and liking it, despite the bugs. Fighting system is great. It just doesn´t feel as polished as other games, say Ghost of Tsushima. Many bugs (had Sebastian once dissappear in the village only to have to wait for him to walk all the way from Hogwarts back to me, lol) that makes it feel like a Bethesda game.

All in all I´m happy I didn´t buy it, but I understand why Harry Potter fans love it.

Well first party games come and go on the service. They'll be back as new editions eventually but what's truly Bizarre is resistance 1/2 PS3 getting added recently and now they're already gone. Seems very strange. Could be a remaster collection on the way.

Does that mean that you cant even play the downloaded version? Im new to ps+ extra
Ps essential you own the games as long as you're subscribed. Ps extra and premium you can play the games until they're removed from the service.

So if you want to play any game on that list you have until May 22nd.

Tried it out as well. Not a big fan of HP but saw all the movies.

This game has fantastic atmosphere. Don't understand why there isn't a Lord of the Rings version of Hogwart's Legacy.

That sucks. Oh well, time to platinum GTA5. Played it only on PS3 back in the day.

Hum...they added Resistance games a few months ago only. Why remove those? Even if they weren't 1st party games...makes no sense.

Wasn't there a rumor about that trilogy getting some sort of remaster a while ago?

GTA V has come and gone from the service 2 or 3 times now. Same for RDR2. They'll be back again but it could take 6 months or a year.

There's usually 1 rockstar game there. They removed San Andreas just before GTA V was added so I'm hoping that means GTA 3 or Vice city will be added soon.

Best advice is complete a game within a few months of them adding it.
