Thats some low numbers for such great games. I figured Zelda would sell more than this by now. Also, didn't GameBoy Wars(Advance Wars here) used to be a huge seller in Japan, what happend there?

150,000 total isnt all that bad for a Zelda handheld. Besides, the Japanese dont celebrate Thanksgiving, they dont have a reason to rush out and buy games right now(unlike the US)

a completely specious argument.

They rushed out to buy DQ.

The low Zelda, Mario Tennis, and Mario Party 6 numbers really surprised me. Especially the MP6 ones. I think it's a tradition to buy a game from the MP series over there or something.. :lol

OK, so these aren't Media Create's numbers, so whose are they?

And to refresh my memory, what are the various tracking services in Japan?

Yeah, but they've had the WARS series, otherwise, forever.

Yeah, I was talking about the previous titles in the series. I believe they might have released Famicom Wars, and GameBoy Wars in Japan. I think they were very popular too. I guess Nintendo waited too long to release sequels to these games and the popularity of the series waned.

Hey, those R&C3 numbers aren't bad. Is the series popular in Japan?

It's got a decent amount of popularity due to Sony packing the original in with PS2's. Going Commando for example sold 223k in Japan.

GODDAMN JPN CROWD. Minish Cap is the best GBA/2D Zelda ever and its really bloody fun. Nintendo should have slotted in a pokemon somewhere...

3. Momotarou Densetsu USA (PS2, Hudson)
46.000 St. (Total 168.000 St.)

^^^ what is that? Dating sim?

How did DQVII do in it's first days of release?

Just over 2 million. But it did another million in it's 2nd week due to first-week shortages, which DQ VIII won't do, maybe 500k next week tops.

Dating sim doesn't sell that much in Japan.

Gamespot lists it as a board game. The characters are supposedly based on a classic Japanese children story.

Wow.

Maybe Nintendo should get Capcom to make the Zeldas hard again.

It's on the easy side, but a very enjoyable experience. There is nothing wrong with the quality of the new Zelda. Music, graphics and gameplay is all there.

A far cry from the additional million some site or analysts spoke of, but still a great number.

Made in Wario hanging in there with Mario 64. I'm a bit surprised by that.

When is Made in Wario coming to NA?
