You and your partner can end this now, Kark. You were so intent on turbo-ing Blarg a few pages ago.
I need to confer with kark.
Blarg and kawl if you are in on flipping the vote for splinter now is the time to get "in"
I was here for the same Splinter thing...you really convinced he's a better choice now? I can understand your suspicious, but...what changed your mind?

tl;dr of part one
"We aren't scum!
team rocket.gif
Kark claimed tracker!
to be continued"
It's as I've been saying:
- scummy reaction to not wanting to hammer Blarg
- sketchy behavior overall, across both days
-too easy to get to this point; very little resistance from anyone about the blarg vote.
- Happens to be in the position where his flip potentially repairs the relationship between Blawl and us (but he needs to be onboard)
- Avoids the potential and likely disaster from this game really doing two town trackers (and this town promptly losing both)
Fair enough. But if Splinter flips town, what do we get out of it? I see Blarg's flip providing much more information. Now, if you think Splinter is more likely to be maf, obviously that is where you should vote. But, as it stands Blarg seems a better candidate still and he'll provide us with more to go on if he flips.

Kawl, I mean that you guys need to push for votes on Splint/Cabot, too. Otherwise, this isn't gonna work.
Well this has certainly been a big swing. Splinter was acting a little sketchy, but not scummy to the point that I would have imagined such a reverse bandwagon possible. But if I'm going to be honest, between Splinterbot and Blawl, I'd rather see Blawl live so that we can continue to get more info from the tracking.
VOTE: Cabot
Why are we voting splinter now?
This is aclassic case of town talking themselves out of the obvious move. Turbo that shit and get it over with
What fucking tracking info are we getting? If we have roleblockers, on scum or town side, tonight will be useless. Scum probably won't give either one a useful job, and worst we just give them more information
You guys are too stupid to be taken seriously if you're seriously considering this
Ok, lets compromise here.
Let's lynch Blawl today, and Splintbot tomorrow. Deal?
Maybe we should lynch you.
Beyond all of the name calling, people who don't have an active vote or remain voting on some other couple with one vote seem shady as hell to me. Make a decision, take a stand. Even if it moves me and Blarg closer to our fate instead of Splintbot, make a choice. Provide some reasoning/feelings. Casual coasting on the sideline does Yall no favors.
Ok, sure you do you Launch, but I mean that shit applies universally. Avoiding getting involved in the nitty gritty (aka voting) of a day's big argument/showdown is a huge red flag. Taking actual stances with votes is much more easily analyzed and compared versus simply saying you feel x or think x but not backing it up with the weight of your vote when it comes down to crunch time.I'd like to revisit this comment once you're flipped.
I think those two are very subtle. They try to add jokes and be "that funny guy who always has a joke at hand", you feel comfortable around them. You easily tend to trust them and than you start listening to their opinion. I think those are our high activity scum pair who dominate this thread far too much. They shift and steer this discussion at will.
While I agree, isn't it everyones job to make everyone feel comfortable? They seem to be doing a great job of it, having a lot of posts and what not, but everyone wants to appear to be sided with the larger piece of the pie, even if you are in that.
I thought during the first day they were really great at bringing up interesting points and generally leading the discussion, which is super helpful for town. I don't know if what you have said is necessarily a bad thing?
^Launch has been suspicious of me all game, but at least he's being sensible about this.Ok, lets compromise here.

This is a case of taking literally anything we post and saying "this is scum pretending to be town!"#2094
cabot throws shit at Blawl because they obviously have to be x-shot.
Immediatly afterwards Splinter comes in and corrects his teammate, oh look how townie they are, working together and correcting themselves. This happened more often (i.e. the crab scale, cabot wants to infer the number of power roles, splinter comes in "this is not how it works, sweetie") - it's some sort of good cop, bad cop shit. That happened at the end of day 1 as well, while I was showing my suspicion on cabot. Cabot was ignorant of anything I said and just tried to laugh it away, while Splinter seemed "sane" and admitted defending HyperKitty more than he thought, basically confirming my suspicion.
Another weird way of acting was Splinter's summarizing posts. He included only 2/3 of the teams and it didn't achieve anything other than conveying HIS opinion on the teams.
I want to point out the assessment of two teams specifically:
Launch and Gorlak
Coppa and Flame
While he is very reconciling with Launch and me, he completely ignores that I voted Kark. Both Blawl and Karkhead have made moves that make no sense if they are scum.
While I was very clear that I disliked Flux' play and want him gone, he doesn't think it's a big deal. Nothing suspicious in itself if he hadn't pointed it out with Flame so much.
He basically condemns both of them because they vote Blarg (like 50% of the players) and made a "soft push" in the policy lynching direction. WTF.
This was weird to me and I looked at Flame's posts, maybe I'm wrong, but I haven't found a post pushing for a policy lynch at all. My stance was 200% clearer and yet Splinter thought those two were more suspicious?
Now, I don't want to defend Flame and Coppa, I'm more examining Splinter's argument and explain why it's a bad argument... Sound familiar? #2345
Splinter and Cabot defended Flux' today for unknown reasons.

ikrI have no words to describe my feelings right now.
This is a case of taking literally anything we post and saying "this is scum pretending to be town!"
Sure it's true that scum are trying to appear town, and will often post townie looking things... But you could take this argument and apply it to literally any post ever made. You even attack me for giving my opinions in here... what am I supposed to respond to in this?
When your arguments are weak, there's nothing I can do but hand wave. Go back to your earlier post attacking me in D1, it's a load of hot air. What you describe is a gut read, but you keep dressing it up as something more than that and have focused on that, and little else, for the entire game so far.The point is your effort seems fake to me. It doesn't feel like you actually want to help to find scum.
Anyway, you can't apply these points to any post ever made:
Dismissing my arguments by simply handwaving them (this applies to end Day1 cabot)
Defending HyperKitty Day 1 while preparing CzarTim as an option
Defending FluxTime Day 2
Inconsistent assessment of policy lynch advocates
So in my last post I said I was against voting out our potential trackers and would rather have voted for Times pair. I am inclined to go for Cabot/Splinter for the same reason as its increasingly becoming a cabot or Blarg situation.
Got a class to go teach in like 20 mins or so so I should probably put a vote down before then.
