I was more triggered by the kids playing Final Fantasy VIII with two controls in Charlie's Angels.

Honestly, the Final Fantasy VII footage was probably added in post. The two kids could have been playing a totally different game during shooting.

It was the early 2000s, they would not add this in post, it was probably just a video playing. Consider that someone not only started the game but also equiped the G.F. and went to the training area in Balamb Garden, so it's clear that whoever decided to use content from VIII really liked the game and wished to show real gameplay.

There's nothing particularly offensive about it, when i can finally get off my ass and go beyond the mundane, that's what i do.

Couldn't care less about a cruise ship, but for me personally, nothing is as much fun as visiting new places. When i'm on a trip i don't even think about playing video games, nor do i miss them.

But as a working man, i don't have much time for this type of stuff, so in the reality of my daily routine, gaming works quite well, as do many other forms of hobbies.

There is time and place for everything, it can also be interpreted this way.
