Lucasarts @ E3 -- Any Info??

Any insiders know anything of what's going to be announced from Lucasarts? Any new Star Wars, Indiana Jones, or Adventure games coming for consoles?

Just a hint, please!

Well, nothing has been posted to their press site -- yet. Kind of unusual since they're usually good about dropping hints.

Sure something is in the works. I imagine the big two games will be Empire at War and Battlefront II. I remember hearing they had a non-licensed next-gen title in the works.

I expect we'll find out what Factor 5 has been doing whether it's with LucasArts or not. They have been working on next-gen things since 2003, when Rebel Strike was finished.

I wouldn't be surprised if they designed some tools for a certain next-generation console. They did create MusyX and DivX.

Stupid Star Wars bitches.

"With Bioware = megaton"

Someone here already found a quote from Bioware saying they wouldn't be doing KOTOR3. Still, a lot of KOTOR will be dissapointed and don't know/care who Bioware is so it is a nice little victory for Sony if true.

Speaking of Lucas Arts, I just picked up Rogue Leader for GC the other day in the midst of all this Star Wars hype and I must say, it's a fun romp. I can't imagine what a sequel would look like on a X360, PS3, or Rev.

Bioware is more or less MGS second party at this point I think and they arent doing or involved in KOTOR 3 (neither is monolith, since they are working on a new 360 title)..

I thought the rumors were pointint to Lucas doing it in house for PS3. In which case we will get an average game at best that will be a huge coup for Sony because most people will have no idea the developer has changed.

Yeah I just realized they usually have their teaser site where they unveil a different game every day up by now.

So far they seem to just be showing things already out. They're showing Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith for PS2/Xbox (out now) and Star Wars Galaxies Episode III: Rage of the Wookiees for PC (digital download out now, retail version is in stores in June). Also expect to see Star Wars Battlefront II for PS2/Xbox/PC there with the game due in November (they recently showed it at Star Wars Celebration III).

Other than that, they may have a small E3. Ever since Jim Ward became president of Lucasarts things seemed to become more streamlined and focused there with fewer titles in the pipeline.

I don't know where the KOTOR3 rumor comes from, but they're also rumored to be working on the Republic Commando sequel for Xbox 360 and PC titled Imperial Commando.

Maybe they're going completely PS3-exclusive? Hell if I know why they don't have a site like they've had for at least the past four years.

No, because two of the three games they are showing are multiplatform. Battlefront II is PC/PS2/Xbox.

They don't have a site like they've had for the last four years probably because Lucasarts is under new management and he's obviously running things differently from the Simon Jeffrey days.

unfortunately yes..

I'm so bored at work.. and I don't wanna study at my break time

:lol :lol fair enough! :lol :lol

New Star Wars games seem to be a given. The quality of said games seems to vary greatly though, so it's hard to get excited any more. Expect Battlefront 2 and Empire At War for sure.

What I really want to know is if we'll see Mercenaries 2. On next gen. And PSP! :D

As I sait ten million times before: I'd kill for a Gladius in the Star Wars Universe. That would just be the best game ever.

I hope they'll show some KOTOR 3 stuff running on the unreal 3 engine.

Lesse, if LucasArts announces that they'll be using UE3 for their games that'd be too much for me. Jedi Knight/Republic Commando/Knights sequels powered by that engine would be a dream. Unfortunately LucasArts is so hit and miss these days that anything they show has the potential to underwhelm.
