Pft...almost every damn "new" X360 shot released since E3 have just been direct captures of the damn E3 demos. I'm begining to think MS has put a lock down on all new media till a specific date (TGS/X05?) and devs are just tossing out old shots to keep their games in peoples minds. Guess they figure John Q public didn't keep track of E3 as close as these forums did.

Which begs the question on why the lockdown on media -- especially since the skus/price announcement. You'd think they'd be showing off stuff to help out with recent damage control....unless it means the stuff isn't up to snuff??

Yeah, I've noticed this as well. If they aren't from the E3 demo, they seem to be from E3 builds. PGR3 is the notable exception with their studio updates, so I don't think its necessarily a restriction placed by Microsoft.

Will US launch games be at TGS or is it geared towards the Japanese public since it's held there?

I think (but it's just my opinion) that they want to wow people as late as possible so it's right on time for launch. Don't forget they are still pretty much paper press centric so showing the games/releasing the medias in the beginning of October for a November launch makes perfect sense.
 
Great job on the stadium. Hats off to nathanken and his coworkers. But ffs, get some goddamn anisotropic filtering on that field. The blur...my eye can't take anymore. PEACE.

Most of them also are brought to Japan. Need for Speed series, Madden and Live as well. We honestly don't know what games are going to be there. I'm just saying that I think Microsoft put a damper on things because they want people to see a marked improvement from alpha to beta and they allow Bizarre to give us little morsels on info here and there. Think about it, they haven't advertised Project Gotham Racing 3 yet, but they show it all the time. However, Perfect Dark Zero has an ad in magazines now, and we haven't see it in any real capacity since May

how convenient for TGS and the start of the regular season to start around the same time. madden would have been out for consoles for over a month so EA has made a decent amount of money.

I don't think EA is going to show much of this game anytime soon, at least not the good stuff.

They don't want to shoot their wad too quickly and cut into sales of Madden '06 for PS2 and Xbox for people who may see it and decide to wait and purchase the next gen version for X360 in a few months.

I think with sports games, their sales are front loaded. They did 1.7 mill first week with Madden. There was probably a steep drop after that.
 
when you finalize monster park, can you have a sign in one corner of the endzone that says things like "New stadium in X!" with X being the years 1990, 1995, 1998, 2001, 2005, 2007, 2009, 2015 and have each one crossed out except 2015.
 
Man, EA really is one of the laziest developers around. I cringe at the thought of millions giving them their hard earned dollars on something so plain looking. The only thing I've seen out of them in the last three years is BF2.

To me it looks great. If the gameplay isn't broken and the animation is improved over the current gen stuff I'm gonna be playing the hell out of this and all of you (the folks who care about Madden and football enough to enter a thread about it and a reading this right now) know that you are too. 360's release can't come soon enough for me!

First of all, EA is not a developer, at least not for Madden. They publish it and Tiburon is the developer.
