I'm curious about how well madden has been selling on the PSOne the past few years. It's astonishing to me that in 2005 they're still making a PSOne version. Who is buying that crap? Who is willing to pay $50 for Madden PSOne but doesn't own a next gen system yet?

I can't imagine Madden 2005 on the PS1 sold very well, but I'd be interested in seeing official data, if any is out there. How many more years are they going to make them? Honestly, what team is making the PS1 version? Are they stuck in some EA basement somewhere?

I think the games are only 30 bucks on PSone. Maybe lower now that the PS2/XBox/Cube versions are 30.

Anyway, I don't have a link, but I think I read that Madden 2004 sold something like 240K.

I could be wrong, but I believe all new PSOne games (that got released in like 2003, 2004) got a price tag of $29.99 at the most. But yeah, I was a bit surprised to see Gameday 2005, Fifa 2005 on the PS1.
