Where can I get some madden tips, not just a guide... but a place where I can find a specific thing I need to work on?

Things I need help with for those who wanna help:
- When a guy throws to Tod Heap every play non stop, how do I stop him
-Michael Vick, nuff said
-Stopping major blitzes every play
-Any other common probs

Id really like a source for future ref though

Er...double man coverage?

Double QB spy? Try covering him manually. The AI can't handle cheesy Vick players too well.

-Stopping major blitzes every play
Improve your ground and short pass game. Blitzing is supposed to be dangerous. Also, you might want to stay inside the pocket and keep a TE and/or RB if you're not using them as receivers. And pumpfake. You'd be surprised how well a pump fake works.

Against Heap I would either call a zone, double him and bump him with the man on the underside, or manually cover him

Against Vick I had a guy last night who would call four wide and then run out of it with vick. I was using the Broncos, luckily Al Wilson was able to catch him on the spy. I used the play Quarter Man Spy. You can audible guys to spy with the push of the right stick to the left I think. Either that or push it to the right.

Heh, what team are you using? You can hold in extra blockers and try only passing from I Form or split back or shotgun with two RBs, then audible your backs to stay in (Hot route, back, white button for right block, black button for left block) You can also audible your TE to stay and block. Stay away from lon passes and go for much quicker plays.

I dont know how to bump or double someone

The instruction manual and the training mode might be good places to start. You have been given the tools grasshopper, now you must learn to use them.

If you want to cover Vick yourself, you could use a MLB and then when you get near him, take another man and let the computer finish the job - if you're not too good at tackling.

If the computer is hitting the TE a bunch, I just stay in a 4-3 Cover 2, and he won't be catching passes for more than a few yards.

To stop the blitz, you need to learn to read it, and see where it's coming from. Then, you can tell your TE to stay and block, and the same for your RB and FB. Adjust your receiver routes to be shorter, so you can get them the ball, and by all means. DON'T DO PLAY ACTION. It will just get you killed against the computer.

Y or Triangle plus down the pad=bump.
