Made In Wario DS

game is almost out, and i have every intention of importing it, but before i jump the gun and do so, i was wondering if anyone knows anything about the game having any kind of multiplayer modes that require more than one copy of the game.

if it does, then i might hold out, but i'd imagine that Nintendo would be able to pull off any kind of multiplayer that they'd like to do with the game with just one copy of the game.

anyways, i know almost no info has been released for the game, but any info would be greatly appreciated.

worse case scenerio, i only get Meteos and not the both of them.

wait wait, is Meteos a launch title as well? Any reviews?

Really want to import Wario DS, but I know that I won't be able to give it the proper attention until the US release..

Interesting.

Those two games will be in my NDS for a very long time. Ok maybe not, damn Wario Ware Twisted cartrdige is a bit bigger than normal games

As long as someone is giving him impressions of the multiplayer, I'd like to know about how many minigames involve text. If there's japanese reading needed for any essential games, I'm out. Othewise I might import...

It does not have any multiplayer modes. Same goes for the original and Mawaru. Only the GC version had multiplayer modes.

You're fucking kidding me. Jesus christ that's disappointing. I know the GBA Ware Ware's didn't, but with the multiplayer on the DS being implemented so painlessly I honestly can't understand that decision at all. I was really hoping for some m ultiplayer wario ware action with my GF :(

Ugh... they could have at least done something minimal. First to lose 3, or SOMETHING...

GBA WarioWare had multiplayer. It was pretty lame, though, but there were some unlockables where each person holds half of the GBA to play.

"To touch" or something to that extent. Mawaru means something like "to turn" I believe. Obviously just descriptions of the games.
yes. they're verbs!

sawaru = to touch
mawaru = to turn

convenient how that worked out for nintendo. or maybe they thought of the verbs and then DESIGNED THE TECHNOLOGY TO DRIVE THE GAMES OMG

Yeah, they have the love test in Mawaru on the GBA too, but I don't think it's enough to qualify the game as multiplayer.

I don't know how easy it would be to replicate the whole WarioWare experience in multiplayer on handhelds. It's cool on the GC because you're all on the same screen playing against each other, but I struggle to think of what they can do on the GBA or DS. I guess there's some way to do something, but I don't know...

These are the DS multiplayer games so far, though:

It's ridiculous that we have to wait so long for this damn game. The first Wario Ware sold much better here. I guess they want to milk Super Mario 64 here for all it's worth. :-\

I wouldn't go that far. The Wario ware games are fantastic little single player games. Maybe not exploiting *all* of the DS functions is disappointing, but I don't know if its blaspheming italics disappointing.

Despite Wario Ware being single-player, I played it with friends pretty often. We'd just alternate.

Yeah, I tend to save those for E3.
