I went to Staples again today to find some sort of replacement third shelf, and while I was there they had to close a large portion of the lower level because of a plumbing problem, which had huge amounts of water gushing from the ceiling and destroying the ceiling tiles. There were several large buckets collecting water, and the area was taped off, while workers were watching, and one person, a plumber I guess, was looking at the ductwork.

I also got the manager to give me free delivery on an order under $100. ($50 online, $100 in store)

this reminds me of our store last summer. they were in the process of replacing the roof, and a huge rainstorm hit. since major portions of the roof were missing, we lost about 50% of our ceiling tiles due to the rain damage, not to mention the huge electrical problems it caused us.

of course they never closed the store for a second. it was a huge hazard for employees and customers alike, but god forbid we close the store.

Free Delivery is practically handed out here. But thats cool all the same. Sounds like their store needed some help haha. That sucks for them tho. Running a store can be ba enough WITHOUT floods.
