snapcaster mage + black sun's zenith.
I exiled it or shuffle it back?
Im pretty sure you cant even flash it back since zenith never hits the graveyard.

It can be milled or countered when first cast thus placing it in your graveyard.
Are you doing Swiss or some other format?
Crushing vines and clinging mists should have been double wild hunger. Pump spells are equivalent to removal in this format.
I'm doing my first ever draft right (3 pk DA) now on MGO.
Won my first round, eep, so nervous!
My deck is completely awful, and I have nothing useful in my sideboard. I don't think I'm gonna last past the next round. Fingers crossed though.

If you have the two hungers in the deck, your deck actually isn't that bad. Also, the additional Hunger of the Howlpack should have been in. Just go straght up beatdown with the wolves and pump spells- the Undying makes it ridiculously good.I took the vines for some kind of anti air beyond the spider, but yea wild hunger would have been better. I did end up sideboarding in that other hunger of the howlpack which was great with the undying stuff.
Ah, so Swiss then. Not sure, I played 2 matches, best of 3, won 1, lost the other and wound up winning 2 packs.
Actually he played 4-3-2-2 since he won 2 packs going 1-1.Ah, so Swiss then.
The formats are 8-4, 4-3-2-2 and Swiss. 8-4 means only the top two players get prizes, 4-3-2-2 means the top 4 players get prizes. In both these formats, you're kicked out after one loss.
In Swiss, you're awarded by how many matches you win, 2 boosters per win. This means you have 3 chances to get at least 2 boosters.
Oh wait I see!Actually he played 4-3-2-2 since he won 2 packs going 1-1.
Also, triple immy with friends....holy.
Who plays EDH here?
I started with the precon Mimeo. Then built a non-Curiosity/Ophidian Eye Niv-Mizzet deck. Next up, Scion the Ur-Dragon, Azami and Edric!
I love the EDH format. Some cards you never thought of using in 60 card decks can suddenly be of much use in EDH!
Got my Royal Assassin deck built, so far so good. Undefeated thus far (just casual games with friends, of course). Still, it's really a fun deck to play. Especially with Lorthos thrown into the mix. Hell, I realized in the middle of a game that I could use Merfolk Looter to discard him, then Rise From The Grave to get him out for 5 mana instead of the 8 he costs. Yeah, I'm sure it sounds like a "duh" strategy to most of Magic-GAF, but for me it was one of those "oh shit" moments. :lol
It's also an annoying deck to play against. As I found out when we switched decks and I had to play against it. :lol

6 CMC? Wurmcoil Engine, perhaps?
Also, the Mimic Vat tokens would have 0 CMC right? I mean, it could be fun, but I don't think it would really work with that scheme unless I'm forgetting something.
The "copiable values" are the values derived from the text printed on the object (that text being name, mana cost, color indicator, card type, subtype, supertype, expansion symbol, rules text, power, toughness, and/or loyalty)
Hmm, Wurmcoil would be quite nice.
I believe since Mimic Vat makes a token that is a copy of the card it gets everything including the CMC.
Edit: Yes.
From the Comprehensive Rules:
Hey rules experts, here is a question for you from a situation that arose during my lunch game.
So I had Mikaeus the Unhallowed, Sheoldred, and a bunch of zombies out. So all my creatures (except Mikaeus) had undying.
My opponent casts Alpha Brawl on Sheoldred so it deals 7 (thanks to the +1 from Mik) to all my creatures then they all hit him.
Where we got confused was whether or not the Undying effect from Mikaeus would take effect or not. Do the creatures dying enter the stack one at a time? If so who choses the order the controller of the creatures or the guy who cast alpha brawl?
I hope I get this right!
1) Sheoldred deals 7 damage to your creatures.
1a) As per the gatherer ruling, state-based actions are not checked in between 1 and 2.
2) Your creatures all hit Sheoldred.
3) All creatures go to the graveyard simultaneously as a state-based action (lethal damage)
4) All of your creatures (aside from Mikaeus) had undying when that state check was made, so the undying abilities trigger when they hit the graveyard (based on last known information). You control the creatures, so you can decide the order in which the undying abilities will go on the stack (this may or may not be relevant).
5) Assuming nothing else happens, all of the undying abilities resolve.
I use to be big into it, but recently have had a falling out due to money going to Standard. Last EDH I built was Bant Tokens. SO GOOD.
My friend built an EDH deck which if he can pull a particular combo off, lets him attack for an infinity amount of time. One enchantment let's him pay mana to get an additional attacking phase. The other enchantment card let's him untap all his land whenever creature attacks. Cheap!
Welp. I'm a dumbass. I mixed up the boxes going out to Technomancer and y2dvd. Problem is, the ones going to Technomancer weren't worth a whole lot. The ones going to y2dvd were.
So...in case anybody feels like I tried to rip them off, I wanted to air it publicly. 'tis a crime of sending out 5-6 boxes at a time and mixing up a couple of labels.
Mea Culpa.
Yeah, I opened my box and was like "the fuck?"
Well, at least you're honest....a lesser man could have screwed me out of a bit of cash.
Now....how to best get the right cards to the right person?
I feel that Standard sucks more money than Legacy. You have to keep buying and the sets keep rotating.
Ah, so Swiss then.

I think the worst part of Legacy is the whole "play blue or you're pretty much screwed" deal.
Although that might be outdated since from what I've seen it's Stoneforge Mystic who's dominating right now? What a broken card. But I don't follow Legacy very close, I think the Modern format is more fun since it starts around when I started playing Magic again.
