well, you start out at $.45 an hour. From the FAQ:

What is the payout rate?
When you first join Surf Junky we start you off with $.45 per hour. With regular account activity you will earn points. These points give you higher payout rates up to $.75 per hour. No activity to your account will result in a loss of points.

How do I earn activity points?
You can earn activity points by surfing, regularly logging into your Surf Junky account, referring new members, signing up for sponsoring offers, and many other ways.

no spyware and the only personal info you need to give is a name and address so they can mail your check. or, if you want, they will deposit your money into your paypal account. it's legit guys.

Do you have to actually click on any of the sites, or can you just leave it running 24/7 and not do anything?

you don' have to click on anything. when you login and click the start button, a second window opens which automatically changes from site to site every 30 seconds. that's it. note though, that you cannot use firefox with this.

Is there ANY way for this to work for us Canadians? And if not, do we have any alternatives? I could use some free cash right about now :(

I dont think it goes to actual sites. It stays on the same site and refreshs every 30 seconds with different google like adverts at the top.

There is the catch. They will probably lower the pay rate to useless levels unless you are always doing shit for them (referring members, signing up for "free" offers and all manner of other crap).

lmfao, I remember spending many sleepless days and nights trying to figure out how to fuck with the various bar hacks to get paid with Alladvantage.

Got one, and managed an ungodly amount of uptime "browsing"...got one $40 check, and then AA went kaput. :lol

...God, the Internet was so cool and naive back then.

works for Gamestop (lol)
Alladvantage rocked. I used the money to buy some Dreamcast games :p

So this is actually legit? Someone actually got a check? I have a computer here that runs 24/7...do I have to actually be physically doing something to get paid?

So far I've left opera running on my 2nd monitor for a good hour, and everytyhing seems going good. It just focuses on that opera iterration after it loads the page though. =| Kinda annoying every 30 secs. But it should run fine if you leave it alone, just set it to reload every 5 mintues or so in case the server gives you an error page. We'll see If I get paid, I got nothing to lose.

Under the PAYPAL payment line what do I put in the Account: line? Is it the email attached to my paypal, my name or is there a number for my account?

This isn't too bad right now other than the page occasionally not loading. I can do non-browser stuff without being interrupted so I'll just pretend im getting paid to IM and listen to music and not work on my project that I opened up hours ago and haven't touched.

Yeah, this showed up on anandtech and it's been spreading like wildfire. Supposedly, they're able to tell if you have more than one window open, are using tabs, or are trying to cheat the system in any other way. They actually subtract money if you try to use tabs and the like. I think this is pretty new so I don't know if anyone's actually gotten a check yet, but I believe I read they don't ask for much personal information, so it's not that high risk.
