Yeah once, when I got pepper sprayed in the face, a woman kicked me in my fat-rolls as they spilled out of my two-sizes-too-small Nintendo tee while I writhed on the ground.rubik's dude have you ever felt the touch of a woman?
Nice! There are some pretty cool Lego sets out there. Seems like a fun hobby, I wish I had the space for it.Cool collection, I have Amiibo and Legos.

I went through a Lego phase about 8 or 9 years ago. I still have all my sets, but they're all put away in the attic at this point.
Reminds me of this
Holy crap, awesome collection! Were these pre-made sets, or were they all custom work?![]()

Mostly pre-made sets with a good bit of modification. But there are a handful of completely custom builds too.Holy crap, awesome collection! Were these pre-made sets, or were they all custom work?
What does your basement look like![]()
It's ok to have a nerd space somewhere in the house, like a gaming/hobby room, mancave, etc.I assume you guys are single cause there is no way in hell freezing over my wife would let me display my shit like that in the house, and she is pretty damn tollerant of my gaming obsessions lmao. She even games herself sometimes and I know for a fact it would still cause an arguement....

I joked before but my partner's into collecting figures too, she has as many as I do. We're working together to create our own nerd cave filled with figures, games, all that type of stuff.I assume you guys are single cause there is no way in hell freezing over my wife would let me display my shit like that in the house, and she is pretty damn tollerant of my gaming obsessions lmao. My balls would go inert forever if I brought a lady home with me and I said "behold, my stuff."
its more about clutter than anything. Shes pretty OCD about things being tidy!I joked before but my partner's into collecting figures too, she has as many as I do. We're working together to create our own nerd cave filled with figures, games, all that type of stuff.
If you'd wanna start small to see if your wife would be into collecting stuff, you could see if there's a "Nendoroid" for a series she likes. They're usually small, inexpensive, and moderately detailed.
Lol totally understandable, the amount of clutter from figure boxes is insaneits more about clutter than anything. Shes pretty OCD about things being tidy!
Or Viggo MortensenThat's right, I don't want dishonor Karl Urban of all people.
This shelf is fire but feels like Shenron granted half a wish
This is ironic since my wife has all kinds of figurines and if she had it her way they'd be all over the house instead of relegated to a couple of shelves I allow lolI assume you guys are single cause there is no way in hell freezing over my wife would let me display my shit like that in the house, and she is pretty damn tollerant of my gaming obsessions lmao. I was hesitant about glass shelves too, after hearing stories about them shattering due to over tightening/temp changes. I've had these ones for a few years though and they're sturdy as hell.I've been collecting DBZ stuff myself, just not sure what to put them on. Glass shelves look nice but im not really into glass since im afraid it might shatter.
Japanese flea markets and auction sites using a proxy service mostly. Buyee's a pretty good service for that kinda stuff.rubik's dude where did you get those FFXi figurines?
Lol it's 99% an og Dragon Ball shelf since I love the og series, but Vegeta's my girlfriend's favorite, and that was a rare version of him they did a re-run of. So we got him crossing the timelines a bit. This shelf is fire but feels like Shenron granted half a wish
Where the hell are the rest of the Super Saiyans? Goku's still riding the cloud like it's daycare while Vegeta is over here carrying the whole power level on his blonde back

Keep them usually, if you ever move/want to sell them. What do you guys do with the original packaging? Do you throw them away?
My son did tell me last night, he would like my Lego collection when I die. So that felt nice and weird.
Sick display! I keep a few things NIB too, like the Turboman replica that got made by Funko a few years back.![]()
I'm one of those weird NIB types. This is just one of the walls of bullshit. Most everything else is in bins still as I don't have shelving up. Someday.
I'd love to get into Warhammer, I really like the lore. I'm terrible at painting though. Tried fixing a few figures that had paint damage and it was so bad lol.We already have a Warhammer thread…

I'm a bad painter too but the more you do, the better you get. Having good quality paint and brushes is key! You can also learn some great tricks from folks. My local store taught me to never paint from the pot which made a difference immediately. You can also get a free mini every month from the store to try new ideas out risk free. It's a patience thing from my experience.Sick display! I keep a few things NIB too, like the Turboman replica that got made by Funko a few years back.

Yeah that's a good point. I got the paint and brushes to fix my figures from my local Warhammer shop. They were extremely helpful in finding the right ones. I'll definitely have to give it another go.I'm a bad painter too but the more you do, the better you get. Having good quality paint and brushes is key!
