I had something somewhat resembling this story happen to me recently. I found a Sharper Image gift card laying on the ground, walking through the mall. I picked it up, took it to the nearest Sharper Image Outlet and bought two model cars. No sense in giving Sharper Image free money just because it was no longer usable by its original owner, right? Then I found out my dad had called Sharper Image and was trying to get it back to their original owners. Whoops. Fortunately for me, they were unable to find out who it belonged to, because the transaction was done in cash. :lol
