Foolishly scrolled on the video and was greeted with shit-tier comments. Luckily I found a really good positive one and decided to quit while I was ahead. Stopped watching the video like 15 seconds in.
 
I thought this was meant for gaming until I read the replies.

I just assumed 'weave' was like a fighting game term or something... so, what does weave mean?
 
What exactly is a weave? Is it like a stye thing or is it basically a wig? Like, are they worn so that you can have both short and long hair styles based on your mood, or something you'd wear if you have cancer or something?

Some parts ("It's going to be a long night for me *sob sob*") make this seem fake. Considering most people use Facebook to connect with people they already know it also seems weird he's asking Facebook for help. Twitter or Tumblr or some other thing where you're talking to strangers for often would make more sense.

Its hair extension. Its more complicated than wigs and isn't switched out so easily.

Her hair is probably just extremely low and/or possible damaged to the point that he would call her bald. She might not literally have no hair on her had as you need some hair to attach the "weave"/extension to. You're right, extensions wouldn't be used to cover up baldness.
