Man stabbed at Toronto's Eaton Centre

Hey,

I haven't seen this break anywhere yet and it MAY be nothing. I was just walking into the Eaton's Centre and heard some people yelling about a bomb and noticed some people running back. Not wanting to take any chances, I also evacuated. Again, this may be nothing, but I also heard emergency vehicles show up near my building.

Edit: I'm really hoping it's nothing. Hoping for false bomb threat. I work at a building right beside it.

I'd wait for actual news on this before speculating. A lot of people are on edge all over the country after this weekend.

My alma mater just had a bomb scare yesterday. Roped off two blocks and got the robot out and everything just for an abandoned backpack.

I'm sure they were just talking about Mike Babcock's first year with the Leafs, but on the off chance it's something nefarious, be safe Toronto-GAF!

They were probably talking about Nordstrom..

Lol, thanks guys. I need a laugh. Even if this turns out to be nothing, you still get rattled by this. Irrespective of what happened, when you enter that situation, your instincts take over. It was pretty much game theory. Either it's real or it's nothing. Always retreating means you have no chance of dying. Always entering and proceeding runs a risk of death. Therefore evacuate.

Man, Here comes another emergency vehicle.

Alright, can we get a mod to change the title please? Definitely a stabbing. Also, I guess I still have time on my lunch break now to go buy SMT IV: Apocalypse, which is why I was originally going.

let's be fair here, they were up front from the beginning about the team being awful for a number of years when he took over.

I liked the fact that he wasn't trying to sell us some dream about playoffs or a cup like coaches and GM's before him.

Sounds like they have a suspect.

Maybe the mods can just change this into a Leafs Suck thread.

Just took a look at the scene of the crime. Small puddle of blood soaked up by cloths, pile of clothes on the floor. Guy is alive (and at hospital obviously)
