There's a lot of truth in what thorns said. Most if not all fakes come from Nintendo fans. Though to be fair most delusional dreams come from Xbox fans (SquareEnix to make FF13 for 360 !, Tekken 6 for 360 !!, most games next-gen will be multiplatform (aka "no need to buy PS3")).
About these fakes, dunno, people have the time and skill to do them. More power to them I say at least they are not killing anyone on a street with a baseball bat.

These fakers do stay on top of information.
There was a Nintendo patent that circulated Nintendo boards regarding a potentially new implimentation of cube mapping making for a more realistic image with less of a hit on the hardware. It was all very vague but people noticed... as did the fakers
You've also got them going with the "Nintendo Wifi Connection" stuff, displaying the ATI logo etc. And they're drawing on the close relations Nintendo have had with Capcom and their renewed business with Square Enix to hype people up.
It's a shame because I'd love to see something like Mana World. With better art of course.

While fake, the renaming of Kid Icarus to just 'Icarus' has in one fell swoop challenged my opinion that it's a franchise which wasn't worth returning to. Quite obvious now that I think of it but clever enough all the same. Capcom's not a bad choice of outside developer either - they're on fire atm.
