Why doesn't US Jump just pick up whatever Japan Jump has? Japanese Jump seems okay with cancelling shit if it sucks, so I don't get why US Jump can't do the same thing and just call it a day.
Licensing cost I believe is the main reason.
Viz Jump 1/23
The Promised Neverland
Already read it yesterday but picked up more detail and was even further appreciate of how amazing this chapter was. I wonder if the scientist dude is william minerva or if he's a sympathizer passing along the messages. Khrone was the perfect jobber in that she completely crushed the kids at the last moment only to turn around and be crushed by Mom and Grandma truly showing just how outclasses the kids are.
Food Wars Shokugeki no Soma
The flash back was a much needed explanation for what exactly Azami wants and why he wants it. I wish they had better established Azami earlier during this arc since his plan in a vacuum just seemed strange and hard to follow.
My Hero Academia
Not really surprised the big 3 are all super weird, I'm more curious about All Might when he inevitably explains why he passed on pip boy for Deku as his successor.
Black Clover
Glad this guy wasn't beaten that easily, but of course it sets up a scenario where even MORE characters are completely useless so Asta can save the day again.
RWBY
Yu gi oh arc v
This manga makes me kick myself for not being caught up with the anime since I really liked this world and characters. Chapter itself was mostly set up for things to come with a rather unsatisfying ending to the duel hyped through the whole series up till now.
Nisekyu
I'd probably appreciate this more if I read Haikyu, seemed like an alright cross over if you like both properties (fuck Nisekoi that shit sucked)
A fault in our stars manga adaptation
Called that the dude was gonna die first the moment the story revealed the girl had a timer on her life. Cliche love story but effective in the story it was telling as the leads were both fairly likable and their relationship felt genuine.
