By the way, I know it's late to say this but I don't think I ever did. OP looks fantastic. Awesome graphics and very steady framerate. Love the GIFs too. Especially Donkey Kong running into Metal Mario.

Both, actually. Since Nintendo never released high-res cups/icons, assets, I made them from scratch using the small icons used in this thread's header.
As for the first OT header, it was 100% Photoshop.
