Mario Kart AC homepage opened

I like how characters have their own special weapons. They should do that in a home release too to balance things out more.

Holy crap. There are like 23984 general items AND 4 personalized items for each character, from what I can tell.

I hope the Star Fox Assault team isn't on this.

Double Dash!! sucked and I think the more items the worse off the game is.
The next mario kart should play like the DS version with features and courses out the wazoo.

What's going on olimario? In the past I hardly agreed with anything that you said, but lately we've been on the same page with just about everything.

I have a thread on my other computer where Drinky and I agreed on everything. It's just a fluke.

Well, on KH, ToS, and TWW.

Omg, I agree with that too! I kinda ignored the story though. I was mainly trying to get everyones different moves, better weapons and higher combos.

I'm kind of baffled by the decision to have the characters hold out their hands when they have items considering the item box at the top of the screen does the same thing, let alone why they implemented targeting into it as seen in the videos, but hey, I haven't played the thing. Looks pretty nice, but I'm not entirely sold on it just from the looks of things.

I played this game in the arcade, and it really sucks. I hate to say it, but I think most people will agree after they play it.

what? :/
the handling is very bad??

Last I checked - October at the arcade show in Novotel, London, this game SUCKED.

Really. Bland-ass tracks, BORING items and tracks that get repeated on the same league as 'night tracks' where not much changes bar the backround. The DS one's far better.

But then, I did only play the first two leagues, so maybe it gets more interesting after that, though judging by the lazy designs for the potentially cool challenge tracks, I'm not holding out.

cause its cooler looking when your character actually uses the item instead of magically shooting from the kart (dont ask me how the items get to their hands in the first place, they magically appear from what ive seen in videos). double dash did it too.

If Nintendo does port this to the GC, that would make them fix 2 franchises they fudged up this Gen. Zelda and now Mario Kart. Now all they would need to do is Mario and Starfox and we're back in business. :)
