Mario Party 6 = $39.99 + Free shipping @ Outpost.com

outpost.com is terrible, I've had noting but problems with them. Just a little warning. Although in all cases I did get my items, and for a cheap price.... But still not what I call a pleasent experience.

Would you care to elaborate? You got your items for a cheap price... sounds good. So how was that "terrible?"

waiting 2-4 weeks for a game to ship after it comes out, when i preorded them, is not okay. and neither is shipping it to the wrong address and having to rely on a neighbors freindlyness to get my product.

Again, don't order if you want the game(s) on release day. But if you don't mind getting something a week late, outpost is the way to go.

How did they ship it to the wrong address? Isn't that stuff all computerized??

I'd imagine you or your mailman is more likely to blame on that one (but who knows...).

Sheesh.

INope the wrong address was actually printed on it. Adn its not my fault for entering it incorrectoly or something, since when I placed that order I ordreed two things, which shipped seperatly, the other had the proper address.

And no i wasn't expecting them on release day, but I wasn't expecting them to ship 3 weeks after I had seen them in stores.

I got Halo 2 the day after release before 11:00 -- with the free shipping option. As far as I'm concerned, Outpost rocks.

I've had varying levels of success with them... Sometimes I get stuff day after release... sometimes I get tired of waiting for it and just cancel & buy the game in a store. There's no harm in pre-ordering it for me, because I know I don't need it on launch day w/ the # of games that I have right now & if I decide to cancel because it's on backorder, it's not like they'll have charged me or anything.

I still have Gradius IV on backorder from them. :lol

Okay.. just checking..

It's weird with outpost. I got Half-Life 2 from them on the Wednesday after release (1 day later than EB) but with Metroid they were still backordered this weekend (I ordered it before the game came out). Lucky for me, Target ran that awesome Metroid deal this week, so it worked out in the end.

Same thing w/ me & Metroid.

Luckily their customer service gives you no crap at all about cancelling an order. They are the most lax phone reps on earth.

"I'd like to cancel my order... #J12345"

"Okay. Metroid? Done."

They don't even ask your name.

:lol
