i really like this guy and his videos.. smart and cool
you had me in the first halfI anticipated he wouldn't like the console being white. He loves matte black devices.
The pricing he expects is the most logical estimate.
Prices would already include taxes in EU though and I'm talking about €499 retail.Well, if we are talking US it really might be 499$ because the sales tax gets tacked on later.
Here (EU, Germany, Sony's 2nd biggest market) we have a 19% sales tax (ca. 90€ if the PS5 sells for 500€), so the actual price would only be 410€. That's not evened out by the Euro/USD exchange rate (1 : 1,10).
Now we have to factor in that PS4 was 399 7 years ago, inflation is a thing, 1000€ phones are common etc.
Hope I'm wrong but 499 USD seems really low.
My guess is 599 $, 499 $ (plus tax) for the driveless option, 50$ off is too little an incetive to get the digital version.
In the EU that will likely be 649€ and 549€ (tax included).

$499 = €499 (incl taxes)Ofc they already include tax and that's why they probably will be a little higher than US prices.
Yeah, he doesnt really know much about consoles, he is just saying what everyone else is saying and then saying "in my opinion".Did he say anything interesting or was this only posted because he's a YouTuber?
I watched the first two minutes and he basically said what everyone else has been saying.
