This is AWESOME. What I hoped for but wasn't entirely sure of. Considering this has been testing on Steam, I think it's safe to say that it's going to be available on multiple platforms and launchers.
We may find out today, there's a Marvel Rivals stream later today.
It's on Steam, PS, and Xbox (and mobile). Runs on Unreal 5 with destructible environments. Looks and runs great.
The bullshit in the beta was that accounts are unique to each platform. So if you play on one your locked on there.

Ah, I didn't realize that. Well, at least it's still cross platform. I honestly had no idea they even planned on launching on Epic too, seems pointless for a new F2P game.

Maybe you're referring to Epic players? I was referring to console players as the previous test included Playstation and Xbox players.

Accounts are locked to one platform. So if you start on PC you can't continue on a console or even a different PC launcher or Mobile. It's fucking stupid in 2024.

Needless to say I can't wait and making all heroes free was the smartest thing ever. This game I think is going to do damn good and give Overwatch a run for it's money. My friends and I loved the beta.

So, in the last playtest PC players could play with PS and Xbox players. But we don't know the intricacies of it all just yet. It may do the thing where PC players will be segregated depending on if they want to use Steam or Epic. Hopefully we'll get more flushed out details soonly. Cross progression is NOT a thing however, apparently it's something they want to try and add in the future.
