Reeks of Fortnite x Twitch appeal, to me. The movement and gameplay in the trailer I just watched gave me a headache. It seems like more cashgrab licensing. I may be totally wrong of course, and I hope that it is a good game for those who intend to play it. I 'm a Marvel guy and a superhero guy but have been burned out on it for awhile, so this would be a nice callback if it were actually good.

So what kind of Steam peak concurrent numbers will it have at launch? I thought 400k at first, but that feels like an insulting low ball. Lots of full price games have 100k launches these days and Helldivers 2 got 458k at launch. Black Wukong 2.2M, Hogwarts had 693k and that's an IP on the same value scale as MCU alone (spiderman counted separately).

Ok and OW copied Team Fortress. And so on and so forth. The industry copies other games constantly. Some are more overt than others. Who cares. As long as it improves upon the formula then be my guest.
So many platformers have copied Mario over the years but no one bats an eye lol.

Ybarra literally compared names, but even if you want to look at it deeper, then no widowmaker and black widow aren't clones of each other just because black widow has a sniper rifle, black widow is also shown to be strong in melee range and manages a kill on melee range black panther even; widowmaker is not winning any fight in melee range against a melee archetype hero.
