And whoever was asking, if it hadn't been confirmed yet, PS3 version is running at 720p for me. I don't know the specifics/ins/outs of TV resolutions, but I think I have things set to let the PS3 default to whatever resolution the game natively runs in (if that's the correct way to phrase things), and it seems to pick between 720p and 1080p depending on the game.

The lobbies are pretty sad. If you're a spectator all you see are health bars and the players' fight cards (or whatever they're called) bouncing around.haunts said:
One thing that's nice is a 1v1 player match functions like SSF4 did offline -- you have the option to rematch, select new characters, or exit. No getting booted back to the character selection after every match. Though if the lobby has a higher player cap you get booted back to it even if there are only 2 players in it, which is kinda annoying.
Unlike SSF4 it doesn't seem to let you refuse Fight Requests. It just brings you straight to character selection. Or at least this is the case with player matches. I haven't played ranked yet.
In the lobbies you can peep at people's fight cards and see their win/loss record and their favorite characters and all that stuff.
So far it all seems pretty OK. I don't care much about the lack of spectator, since I usually just read a book instead of watching the matches if I'm in a multiplayer lobby.
I like him more than Gambit, Venom, Psylocke, or any of the other lousy characters everyone keeps begging for!Shig said:
Man did anyone see the Jill movelist? Confusing as hell, she has some stance that gives her extra moves. Then she has a LVL3 in which she is in that stance for basically a really long time. Can't wait to see the reveal trailer on her, she seems interesting although she is just another rushdown character (has very few projectiles except for her super).

Has anyone started to do well with She-Hulk? Since she has to go into a stance to do some moves I wonder if that's going to hurt her playability. Same for Jill.

Player match is ranked without the rank. (you can't invite a specific friend from what I can tell, stupid because it's the only mode with the rematch option)
Lobby is where you join a lobby up to 8 and can set private spots for friends (no rematch option)

BTW, I unlocked the "no blocking trophy" without realizing it. I was on the phone while playing through arcade mode, beat it and it popped up. I thought I would never be able to ignore the reflex to block to be honest. =x

Is the special edition work it for the DLC characters? And can you just buy the special edition or did you have to preorder to get it?
I think hes the worst x-man ever and the comics make him look like a wanna be leader.

Capcom Store/Digitalriver is trying to play me on the phone. Sadly for them I get nights and weekends free.
I request to talk to a supervisor. They put me on hold for 15 minutes then its the same person(not a supervisor) telling me to call back in 15 minutes. I proceeded to break it down to them and say its the weekend and I don't pay for these minutes so you can keep me on hold for hours....wait i think they hung up on me while I was writing this post... false alarm the music just stopped briefly... Anyways, I told the person I will never be ordering anything from them again. They proceeded to tell me there is nothing they can do right now and I should just hang up. I said no you are going to let me talk to a supervisor....
After waiting another 30 minutes, supervisor gets on the phone and I explain to him how I still have not received an update and when I called last week they said it was going to ship on the 10th. Then I told him its unlikely I will ever order from the capcom store again. He proceeded to tell me that they are not sure whats going on with my shipment and that the shipment people don't work on the weekends....
After enough of me eloquently frying the capcom store he said they would try to change my shipping to next day air for free and he would add a note with the order in the computer to try to ensure that. Also he said that if there was a problem they would contact me on Monday. At first he was saying I was going to pay for next day air... he was mistaken. Homey don't play that
