Just curious do I need to use computer to update the files for Brook to work with the controller? or is it ready to use right away?
It is likely to work fine out of the box, but if it's an adapter that's been lying around the warehouse for a while it may need a firmware update. I ordered one a few months ago and it worked fine out of the box with the latest PS4 firmware.
Depends on when it was purchased. Better to just check for a firmware update on the Brooks site.

Matt Edwards checked and said there's no Japanese audio in the game. Only subtitles can be changed to different languages.
No Japanese voices at all.
If it means not having to listen to Spencer or Frank in Japanese, I can accept this.
I think that only happens on older firmware, so if it's happening just update it. Mine has never disconnected.

The sucky thing is that he has great range, but no one wants to direct him to be a different character other than "protagonist." So he's stuck with that voice.
His English voice is decent imo but yeah original JP will be missed with all of the SF and DS characters.
