I only ended up buying it because at one point it went on sale for like 5 bucks and the SFV DLC and the True Ending were like another 5 bucks or something.
Gene has infinitely more style than Asura. I'd like them both in but if we had to pick one it's clearly Gene.

It's 100% worth it if you can get it on a sale. Seriously, the final battle is one of the greatest showdowns in any medium.

The statues don't look too bad but those infinity stones look like shit. They were the coolest part of the $200 bundle for me and I'm glad I didn't shell out for it.

The Stones look like fake Easter Eggs you buy to fill with candy. lol
They supposedly have a texture that can't really be seen in videos, but they still look cheap as heck. The fact that they're basically just LED decorations in a box is just... bleh
I'll admit that I was honestly planning to get the collector's edition just for the Infinite Stones while was going to look to sell the statues to get part of my money back. But to find out that they don't come out of the box does feel... unfortunate. Would have been awesome to hold the stones in your hand and they light up, but if they are all in the box, they are downgraded to just display. People probably would have used those said Stones to probably use with a Thanos cosplay too perhaps.
Needless to say that I'm going to probably downgrade back down to just the game itself and flip a coin on the DLC.

We haven't seen the Infinity Gauntlet in the game, tho. Everyone just kinda carries the Gems around.
I pretty much never buy DLC but made a very rare exception for this game, and it was totally worth it (that and I bought the main game for cheap).
Yeah fuck Capcom for pulling something like this but at least watch it on YT if you don't won't to buy it. So epic.

Imo if anyone's vanilla it's Asura. Dude's bland as hell. I still don't get what people see in him outside of memes. He's Gurren Lagann gifs, the character. Which is boring.
Being from one of Capcom's and CC2's worst games doesn't help either.

Yah don't see it either he has a cool design and all, but Gene is da god. His move list is insane in God Hand and a homage for kung fu movie addicts (and the comedy elements, roulettes, etc). Not to mention the game is one of the best 3d brawlers ever made. So calling Gene vanilla seems ignorant. Gene would definitely be a good rival for Iron Fist too...

Man, you are so wrong. Did you play through all the chapters and the DLC? That game is rollercoaster ride of emotions.
I'd call Michael Bay's Transformers bland, and for me Asura's Wrath is the video game equivalent.

I actually believe that both characters would make great fighting characters for versus games, so I think it's pretty silly for people to argue on subject of which one to get in when both could get in and have completely different movesets.
