Usually a day before release, I think? Haven't preordered from them in a long time since Steam had regional prices, which are usually better than what they offer.
 
Can't really judge online play until more people are on it. Injustice 1 felt good pre-release but post release was caca. A week or so after launch is the test to me.
 
huh. friend of mine got his copy from best buy delivered today. anyone had his show up early? (sorry if this has been discussed, distracted by dragon ball)

You can't install it without Steam officially releasing the game, right? Or is it that you can install it but there's no exe?

Midnight Bliss is literally the only thing he (she?) has. I'm actually interested in seeing what his alt would be, since they won't give him that for obvious reasons.
 
I looked on the Dark Stalkers wiki and all I learned is Jedahs appearance is influenced by something called Devilman and that he's based off a Japanese god of death or the grim reaper. And there was no concept art of him in any costume but his default so I have no clue what they could give him.

Ah I shall always have time for fighting games lol. I'm bouncing between Destiny 2, Injustice, Tekken and SFV. Not much longer and I can add Marvel to that list. Right now I'm trying to get a high enough level for the Raid :(. If anyone still needs to be in a clan, let me know!

Oh and thanks Luce for listening to my rambling the other night haha. Basic gist for those I haven't rambled to is that I want subclasses based on enemy abilities, and I'll probably be sharing the idea on another thread lol.

I have GCU but went with Amazon for my Marvel copy as Best Buy royally fucked up my Injustice preorder. They didn't even get it here by launch. Now I'm hearing Best Buy people are getting it early... UGH.
 
This might be a stupid question, but are DHCs(delayed hyper combos) still possible in this game, or did the tag system completely remove them?

I look at certain supers like Spencer's Bionic Maneuvers(cinematic one) and I think that the best way to get more damage off it is through a DHC, since there might be enough time to tag in your partner and continue a combo via OTG(unless you're in the corner).
 
SFV is rollback as well IIRC, even rollback can be iffy but it's way better than delay based. Hopefully the netcode is great, can't do another marvel woth bad netcode.

There's enough time to tag in during supers with many characters.

In particular, Spencer's Bionic Maneuvers is one you can't tag during. You might be able to tag before the super flash, but I don't know if anybody tried. Only *right* when the final hit is complete are you able to tag, and that super throws your opponent to the other side of the screen. If you were to tag midscreen, I don't know how much time you'd have to dash to the other side of the screen and hit an OTG(unless you were Ghost Rider or somebody else).


This is just a Spencer related quibble.
 
CD keys pulled that same crap with RE7. It was listed as global until close to launch unil it changed to Europe only and they had to refund. I was afraid this would happen again since Capcom had stated they were cracking down on the cross-region stuff. I canceled there once GMG's deal came up since 25% off is decent and they're from Capcom.

Of course now I miss out on their apology coupon, lol. I was going to pick up The Evil Within 2 there. Oh well. If anyone doesn't want their apology coupon I'll gladly use it.
