You know, we're really lucky that the gameplay that leaked was seemingly played by moderately competent players or else this whole thing would've been frustrating as hell.

That said, based on what we've heard, the Fox crew may be fair game for the 2018 Character Pass, likely due to the base roster & the 2017 Character Pass already being set in stone before the rumored renegotiation occurred that probably resulted in the rumor from Ryce that the Fox characters would eventually be DLC.

I think it's more about Capcom characters not fitting into the realistic art style.
