Finally, Insomniac has done a fantastic job of making New York feel alive, with pedestrians reacting to Spider-Man with everything from jeers to applause to selfie requests. You can hack police radio towers to unlock points of interest on the map in New York’s various districts, and each time you do you’ll find more opportunities to earn Tokens and more side missions to help Spidey level up.

As we're approaching the release of Insomniac's Spider-Man game, it's become clear that the game nails the big things. For a lot of fans, getting the feel of Spider-Man right was the most important concern. We now know that traversing New York City indeed feels fantastic, with smooth, satisfying web-swinging and parkour that effortlessly carries Spidey from one corner of the concrete jungle to another. Combat, too, is easy to pick up yet complex enough to reward experimentation and encourage customization.

There looks to be a total of 25 different costumes to unlock. Most of them were blacked out in my demo, but the new outfits that did appear include the aforementioned Spider-Man Noir, Secret War, the Scarlet Spider (classic hoodie version), Spider-Armor Mark II, the Spider-Man: Homecoming suit, and that film's home-made costume. One outfit also carried the distinct silhouette of Spider-Man 2099's costume.

I believe an Insomniac Games employee who posts at Era said there will be no demo. Either that or he replied something like "not true" to a user who made a post suggesting he read something regarding a demo. Either way the implication is no demo.

Can't wait to play this. I'm so happy that we are finally getting a big budget Spider-Man game. All the videos have looked great. I really hope the costume from Raimi's movies is in the game. If it isn't in the game then as DLC at least.

Everything about this game is feeling pretty bought and paid for. Each one of those "reviews" reads like a fucking advertisement. The fact that hardly anyone is even bringing up the fact that the costume with the white logo looks stupid tells you a lot about the lack of criticism going on there. It's painfully obvious that this game is a dud from a gameplay perspective. It's going to be amusing to come back to this in a couple of months and read people's actual reviews of this game after the honeymoon hype has worn off.

Sounds closer to reality even though you can tell that even that is a little padded due to the Sony hype train. This is basically what companies like Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo look like when they go to these media shills.

Many games steal concepts from other games and implement things where they work and add things of their own to it. By this logic, games that steal ideas in an obvious way are crap. I’ll mainly leave it at games, but all forms of media do this. Your literally have to say almost everything is crap for doing this and not enjoy almost any game at this point.

Just leave it at you don’t feel this game is for you.

Just ignore him, he is going from thread to thread trying his hardest to convince himself and the world that this is a bad game. Wasting energy on trolls is not productive and I'm sure he loves the attention.

Repetitive doesn't mean it's a dud. Tetris has "repetitive gameplay". Shit, The Witcher 3 has the most repetitive combat I've ever played and that didn't exactly hurt the game's reputation. As long as it still feels good to play, it's not going to matter.
