If ya watched this trailer and the first thing you thought about was how many gay people are in it then please know that is a fear response; not a rational one.
Theres already a gay character in the game, in this trailer in fact. Shes the blue one for those who don't know. Shes been in an on off relationship with another woman for 40 years. if other X men show up there will likely be more. Its fine. Its been this way longer than you realize. If you read any x men comic from the 80s, you were reading the words of a very liberal progressive guy named Chris claremont who handled these characters for over a decade. That includes Logan here.
If that's a deal breaker for you, most X men stuff will be.

Funny because Liam McIntyre is 6 ft 1. Interesting they chose him to play as Logan, but he seems like a pretty decent fit in this depiction and game. At least from the short snippet we've seen.

I mean, Andy Serkis is like 5'8 and Gollum is barely 4 feet. Motion capture data can be mapped to a skeleton of any height. I think voice and facial expressions were what they were more concerned about.

Yeah was just saying dudes pretty tall lol, much like Hugh Jackman. Liam was pretty decent in Spartacus (show from back when) so he should be able to pull of a good Logan/Wolverine. He does have some presence at least. Didn't expect them to cast him in this though.
And big fan of Andy Serkis he's done such a great job with LoTR and was fantastic as Ceasar in Planet of the Apes reboot.

Gameplay looks exactly the same as that leak two years ago. Just slightly prettier. And that doesn't inspire much confidence. Also, they're hiding senior citizen Jean Grey.

I do personally hope that this game is a tight 15-20 hour experience, one that doesn't really let up once it gets going. I don't want nor need slow walking sections, dream/lucid sequences, or a 'Logan chopping firewood' minigame. Give me the Wolverine, and I'll be happy. I didn't see any open world segments, and all linear moments, so that gives me some hope.

Walt Williams, who helped write Spec Ops the Line and Bioshock 2, was brought in as Lead Writer and Narrative director. I agree SM2 story fell apart, but I am optimistic that Insomniac realized that too by hiring this guy

Looks like it's coming along nicely! I'm a sucker for gory combat and that trailer was satisfying to watch. I can see the DNA of the Spider-Man games somewhat in the little snippets of gameplay shown, but it also looks different enough to be interesting. I'm convinced, day 1!

Can't really blame them for being cautious or skeptical, considering both the leak and all the cringe elements of Spider-man 2, which this game shares writers with.

I would be fine with a Wondering avatar just replacing Kratos. I know not everyone was a fan of the direction the "new" God of Wars took, but I hope Wolverine sticks somewhat close to the formula.
