I wasn't talking about you, I was talking about the "reduced to 0 theatrics".

You're demanding a cure for a coronavirus, which is similar to the common cold. Which we've NEVER cured before. You're demanding the impossible, because you know it's impossible, and instead demanding a dystopian socialist "utopia" in substitution for something that's impossible to achieve. It's the same argument the Democrats in the US are making with TEST ALL 320 MILLION PEOPLE OR ELSE!

pls elaborate especially with these buzzwordsIts nothing to do with politics its about doing what is morally and ethically right.
we should consider how social aspects of interaction and commerce should be changed up.

Making a vaccine isn't impossible. We have the flu jab which has helped reduce the death rate from flu. What's dystopian about requiring Employers to protect their workforce before opening up? We could probably open up before the vaccine is finished if the death rate falls to a sufficient number and if we require PPE in workplaces and social distancing.
In many countries like Japan, facial masks are now a form of attire. We might do well to adapt similar customs. I'm not talking about UBI, constant lockdowns or whatever.
But you are talking about constant lockdowns. If you want people locked down until there's a vaccine, that's AT LEAST a year away. You can't keep people locked down for a year and expect society to still exist. But then you preach about changing society and consumerism, because you're a socialist troll.
I thought smoking was one of the big risk factors and was a reason why Italy was so decimated? Cigarettes to become the new toilet paper.
How do you know their political affiliation? The left doesn't protest? Is it the US flag? So that is only the symbol of the right now? Actually, I believe it.
U really think these people are going out using the flag to tout American ideals? They're using the flag to hide their loathing and as a way to brand others as less American. And some, I assume, are good people![]()
It's okay when they do it.
@Zefah Yeah but those people are also morons![]()

Put it this way, you're not going to put ex-burger-flippers into the production line. Think about the complexities involved in creating something like this, honestly it's huuuuuugely complex. As for your time estimates - I'd disagree with those. They reckon they can do a million before the end of the year, but it's fair to say that they won't stay static at that level of production capacity, and if their vaccine proves to be the best fit then you'll start to see other pharma production facilities being roped in, so the UK gets a faster rate of production, and then likely licensed production in Europe and America for those markets, which means you'll get a far better rate of production than your projections.
PA made a rule to make wearing a mask mandatory in any retail store. Retail stores don't want to enforce it since they are not the police. Police don't want to enforce it since it is not actually a law and they probably have better things to do.
So I have been reading lots of stories this week where masked people are starting arguements with non masked people at stores. People are getting pissed at stores for not throwing out non masked people and making posts not to shop at those places. Police keep getting called and saying there's nothing they can do. What a mess. All local social media is just people yelling at each other.
There's always nicotine gum, lozenges, and patches. Gum/lozenges are hard on your throat and digestive system after a while tho. I used them every day for a few years when I was quitting. So we have to choose between lung cancer or a virus?

Never worth it to get into an argument in public these days. Creates too many opportunities for virus exposure.PA made a rule to make wearing a mask mandatory in any retail store. Not PA, but my wife and son were out without masks and had a older man get up in their face, yell at them about how they were putting everyone in danger (there was nobody else in the neighboring probably 30 meters), and filmed the whole thing "for Youtube". She told him to fuck off. Glad I wasn't there or that old guy probably would have a few broken ribs. She texted me right after it happened and I contacted the police and informed them he was out there harassing people. Cuomo said today that the first study showed 21% of people in NYC have gotten Coronavirus - 2 million people or so. My guess is most of us got it in February well before the lockdown. The number may even be higher than that.
Most people (99.9%+) handled it just fine, and the medical system dealt with it perfectly well. Even if I can understand why they did it, this lockdown was not necessary, and now it is just a farce. Time to move on!

Coronavirus News: 1 in 5 NYC residents tested for antibodies is positive, Cuomo says
The first phase of results from a statewide New York COVID-19 antibody study are in, and New York City was found to have the highest percentage of positive results at 21.2%.abc7ny.com
I think having some of the less impacted states fully open first is a smart move. If they do it and all is well, sure, go ahead.
In the US.. it's starting to look political to me.The point is, NYC was open and functioning while we were being heavily impacted by COVID-19. We were fine. I honestly suspected this, you can find me saying as much several times, and I remain really puzzled and confused by this hysterical response.

Yeah. More and more to me. Before I was concerned.. still am for people to get sick. But the longer this goes on, it's seemingly opening my eyes to it all more now. "Whatever it takes" like Reeee says. Seems to be kill off people and make people poor and miserable. Pretty wild. I don't know. Seeing that picture of Gates Dad with the Rockerfellers. Just adds to it. And then little dude and the lady with Trump at the briefings... somethings up with them it seems. I don't know. Just.. it just seems weird.Starting to? That ship long since sailed.
