You know there's crazy demand when an annual sports game is going for more than retail at gamestop pre-owned.

It's crazy when you consider that it isn't on previous generation, but it's not crazy when you consider how many college football fans there are and there hasn't been a college football game since 2013.

What will be interesting moving forward is how well both this and Madden sustain levels of revenue in future iterations. And whether this pushes 2K to bring back College Hoops 2K in some form.

It's funny how Madden peaked right after the exclusivity started but it went quickly downhill. That's around the time I stopped playing them.

I gave it another shot in 2013, but that was my last outing.

2K made a huge mistake by not continuing to invest via College Football, but this was before NIL.

Yup...There are just alot of bros, myself included, who played this way back in college in the early 2000's and onward. Point being, you have a BIG market for this.

Definitely my GOTY 2024 so far. It's the only Xbox game for which I went and completed 100% achievements. Dynasty and Road to CFP have been so satisfying to play. I did NOT expect to ever consider a sports game in my top 10, but life is full of surprises.

It's not just pent up demand, although that's part of it. College Footballs popularity has grown tremendously since the last game came out.

I bought it on launch and love the game.
