Hmm... heard an apparant "Matt Pond PA" cover a classic tonight on that teen hit show "The OC" tonight. "In The Aeroplane Over the Sea" is the track they covered. Nice rendition--cleaner vocals of course. Less chaotic. But hey, that's what makes NMH so great right? Who needs charm?

Have you ever heard Matt Pond PA? I have never seen this OC show, but I can say without a doubt that whatever this Matt Pond PA song was, it was definitely the worst thing to ever be foisted on the masses. I pity the poor souls suckered into listening to this. Keep in mind that I hate the masses.

He's an opinionated fellow, but very passionate about the things he loves.

It was played faintly in the background and honestly, the voice was really the only difference. Pond's voice is much smoother. I don't understand why they didn't use the original... oh wait, that would cause many people to no longer enjoy NMH simply because their music was played on a show aimed at 12-18 year old girls.

edit: Oh, this was not the worst thing foisted upon the masses through The OC, that honor goes to The Faint during season one.
