May PS plus games for EU

I wonder how many of the people moaning about retail games not being on PS4 Plus yet will still bitch and moan when the first free game turns out to be Knack.

No pleasing some.

As for "well I've already played this", sounds like some people need to develop a bit of self control with their wallet and gaming budget. Personally, every single PS+ release on PS4 so far has been something I haven't played, and there's usually at least something new for me on Vita too.

I think it's fairly easy to take educated guesses on what might hit PS+ eventually. I'm currently holding off on Tomb Raider, Rayman Legends, Thief and Knack amongst others for that reason. But if people buy those games then why can't it just be on the basis that they're happy to pay for them? Why then moan about Plus when something you were happy to pay money for however long ago ends up free for somebody else?

The still great ps3/vita games and online, as well as pretty good indie titles.

No-ones making you pay for it, and if you seriously thought you'd be getting retail games immediately, well, you're a few fries short of a happy meal.

What if I only own a PS4? That's great that people who own the other Sony systems can get their money's worth. PS4-only owners, maybe not so much.

I'm really glad i can have Stick it to the man for free on PS4. I bought it on PS3 and enjoyed it a lot so i was thinking it would be cool if this game moved over to my PS4 library. I will certainly boot it up at least once to see and hear that lovely menu. I might also replay it at some point later on.

Great month. Stick it to the man looks great. Payday 2 i'll definately be checking it out since i loved the first. And blth vita offerings seem like they're worth playing. Only game i won't be taking advantage of is pupeteer, because i own it already. I love PS+

Where did I say that?

Just fed up of the same old tat they put out on PS4+ because they already locked people in by charging for multiplayer so they don't have to try hard.

So pray tell, what do you think would be a justifiable PS+ list from Nov 2013 to May 2014 (first six months of the console cycle)??

On the PS3, 3rd party retail releases have always been pretty conservative. I don't think many 3rd party retail games have shown up less than a year from release.

Sony has been a lot more liberal with their own stuff, so I'm sure those will be the first retail games we see pop up on the service. My guess is that we'll probably see Knack or Killzone show up for E3 and then get Infamous as a stocking stuffer.

Killzone, Knack, Need For Speed, NBA 2K14, Thief, inFamous, MLB 14, and Watch_Dogs. Obviously. Sony could easily pay up for all of these games. They're just cheaping out because they don't have to try hard anymore because online multi-player paywall. Oh yeah, and Transistor.

Like I said, they'd probably have less complaints if it wasn't there at all. Which is would be really really sad if I could prove it.

sony are 'cheaping out' because they're not putting watch dogs, a third party AAA game on plus? really yoh? would it even make sense for Ubisoft to agree to put it on there? correct me if I'm wrong, but an aaa game being on there from release is unprecedented. I can foresee it being on there in the future if/when it doesn't live up to their sales expectations, but wishing it would go on plus in MAY is not realistic.

I'm willing to bet that infamous and killzone will be on plus at some point, but are they the types of games that sony would be willing to eat the cost for, from reduced sales from being featured on plus this early in their lives?

MLB: TS and NBA2K14 are iterations in series that are steady yearly income streams for their respective developers. For the former my question is the same as the one in the previous paragraph. for the latter, what kind of fee do you think 2k/taketwo would be prepared to accept for a game that will sell good figures until the next version comes out? my guess would be one that sony might not be prepared to pay.

Knack, Thief, and Need for speed I could see being on there in the short term future. they either didn't get the best reviews, sold poorly, or both. It's reasonable to assume they could be on there in the next few months.

Sony has never added brand new AAA titles to the IGC at any time in the past. They've never added something within a month of its release, either Where you got this expectation is beyond me.

DriveClub, when it was announced, was the first and so far only game of its kind. Once it finally releases, there's unlikely to be another massive AAA title released for free like that.

Only one game runs at 2X speed ;)
Oh hey you. Maybe y'all should implant a 2x speed game mode. Everything is twice as fast. Twice as fast, twice the challenge, twice the fun. Also, Pre-ordering on PSN. Very important.
sony are 'cheaping out' because they're not putting out?

Behold, the parody post.

I probably shouldn't be browsing here at this hour >_<

It does read like something that could be genuine though, without the right context

well done though, you got me

Late night GAF'ing is bad for your health and continued membership. I tried to make it as insane as possible. Especially considering each of those titles would demand tens of million if not hundreds of millions of dollars in compensation. Might as well just buy them exclusively outright.

I think the Sony cheaping out sentiment is insane. But I also think you can't please everyone.

sneaky fucks putting Muramasa on sale and then giving it away for free with Plus.

I was trying to choose between Muramasa and Dragon's Crown, luckily i picked the latter.

Glad they are finally giving away Everybody's Golf. After owning the two psp titles and ps3 title, I just felt like I didn't need to buy another to get my Everybody's Golf fix.

Stick it to the Man looks interesting, when is the download Live ?

I haven't had PSN+ for long, what are the dates for the games, are they always the same very month ?

So glad I held off. Didn't even expect Muramasa Rebirth and was planning to buy it on the next sale. Just waiting for Dragon Crown for sale. Want to try it out.

Man there's been a lot of 2D platformers/action games. They do nothing for me. I can appreciate how good they'd be for people who like the genre, but I can't get in to any of them at all, and I don't know why. :(

Puppeteer... I've almost bought it at store for $20 this week... what a pity that would be
You need to work on your PS+ radar when purchasing games. Some games are destined to end up on PS+ (like Okami HD . . . still waiting on U.S. PS+ for that). The Witness will probably be on it.

Ironically, Knack is considerably worse than most of the games provided so far.

But at least it's a real game, right?

Oh man, has Okami HD already been on EU PSN? Boo-urns. I must have missed that since I only got Plus with my PS4 on launch.

Stick it to the man doesn't look like my cup of tea.

I'm happy about the Vita offerings. Been interested in Murumasa for a while, plus Everybody's Golf is supposed to be fun.

If I didn't have my PS4 I'd be up for Payday 2 but honestly my backlog is a joke. I don't see myself dusting off my PS3 for one online game.

In my books i see 5 games i never played before, so im satisfied. Especially games for my vita.

PS+ is still awesome IMO. I payed about 40€ for a year and already got great games who where alone 40€ worth it.

I cannot believe the entitlement in this thread.... do people expect to have something specifically tuned for them every month, on every console in the perfect genre and which they dont already own .... wow

i feel bad for stick it to the man devs reading this shit..... your game is fantastic, purchased day one- very unique and such a good sense of humour .... pleased that more people will try it and appreciate it

When the base game stops selling and its price is lowered at retail and when there is enough DLC released then I don't think there's anything EA minds if they put up Battlefield 4.

Same goes with Assassin's Creed IV. Not when the next one is already promoted. I can see this happening after summer.

Knack will most likely be a free if you subscribe to PS+ after E3. Same with the multiplayer portion of Killzone if there is enough DLC in place. DriveClub PS+ edition will be there for a month, I reckon.

I already own both Everybody's Golf and Muramasa (got them in PSN sales, haven't had the time to even start Muramasa) and I don't think I can be bothered to fire up Payday, but I STILL think this is a good month for me. I've heard really good things about Stick it to the Man and was considering getting it on Vita, and Puppeteer seems really nice. These two games alone make this month worth it for me, and remember that a year is 12 months. Plus is FANTASTIC value even if you will - unless you stop buying games completely (which is kinda viable when you've got Plus anyway) - every once in a while get a game you already own.

^^ agree with above poster. I think people have forgotten that Sony realistically only has to give you $50 a year value and roughly $5 a month. That's $1 a game. Over the course of the year there have been some great titles, and we recently went on a crazy run with Tomb Raider, Borderlands 2, Metal Gear Rising, Bioshock Infinite, Puppeteer is hardly a 'down' month. I can understand the complaints because we want the service to get better and better, but to curse at Sony is seriously misguided.

Also Europe despite having one less game, I think have been getting the better games anyway especially if you compare this year's US and EU offerings, we've gotten Soul Sacrifice, Muramasa and Everybody's Golf for a start.

As for the PS4, I can see how people are losing patience with plus, but remember they only have to give you $1 value a game. If you own just a PS4 with plus maybe its worth investing in a PS3 or Vita because in 12 months you will have a great backlog.

And finally PS Plus over the last year has easily been the best year since its been released so I have no idea why people are complaining. Someone needs to make that graphic again that shows the titles people have got in the past 12 months.
