MAYA 7 and 3DSMAX 8 Unveiled at SIGGRAPH

Man, and I was just starting to get the hang of MAYA 6.5, though I hadn't touched MAX 7 yet. Oh well, I hope my school implements these onto our computers quickly, because MAYA 6.5 sure felt more buggy than plain ol 6, and 7 sounds like it has some nice cool additions, especially for game modeling.
 
I much prefer Max over Maya. Max has what I find to be a more simple interface and a more robust set of modelling tools. Maya always felt cheap to me with its wierd nodes and connections as well as an interface that seems to hate windows conventions.

That said, for straight up image making as wicked modelling techniques, ZBrush is phenominal. If only they would make it easier to use.
